I'm a hard working person I learn fast my parents own small business I normally help where they needed help. I'm used to being a hard worker, work must be done on time. Playing good product procejers first in first out.

Great
Amazing and friendly working environment. I learned alot for the department I was placed in. I would love for an opportunity to work there again. I feel like for an entry level position, it's was amazing what the company had to offer me. The opportunities outside the office were spectacular.

Great company
Typical day starts at 7. 45am. Have quick cup of tea with team. Then discuss and allocate work for each member. Lots to learn from each member and plenty of work opportunities available

Excellent learning curve
Edcon has developed an excellent culture through driving respect and honesty among employees. Big drive of daily stand up which create alignment across different sections and BU's, accelerates collaboration and true reporting of status quo. Exdellent In depth decision making process with faster high turn around times. Theres no lag when it comes to making a decision. Frequent engagements if company strategic objectives which creates directions, high involvement of employees and most employees being hands on in aiming to achieve the set goals. Demonstrate great sense of caring for employees and appreciate excellence and innovation. Cashflow challenges creates delay in projects which have great prospects on the companies turnaround strategy.

Lots of learnings, too many repititions
Management skills can do with a lot of work in order to up skill the staff correctly. Too many ppl whom want to be boss and every one wants to have a say on how someone else should do they job, too long to get approvals to get things done by higher management.

Good learning curve
The current company that I work for is very challenging, the working structure, is just impossible. I love the relationship I have with my colleagues and how we can work as team members it's just great and very interesting it makes one want to participate more in group activities. I have learnt a lot working with a large diversity, different race and the huge age gap between me and some of the co workers and I've learnt so much from some and some has taught me a better way to leave and enjoy other individuals company I'm very fortunate. What I enjoy the most is serving the best customer service knowing for a fact that I have made someone's day by giving them exactly what they deserve "a good service" that pleases me a lot. The most challenging espects would be dealing with unpleasant, unprofessional managers whom do not do there job and oversee to employees well-being meeting us half way with everything in connection with them and having to justify them to our customers and clientile.

Great company
Edcon is a fantastic company to work for.growth and development opportunities are always available. With my time i have spent with the company i have seen challenges and opportunities but the learnership has been world class.education and upskillng is also very important to edcon as they look to groom own managers and also retain them. Company incentive are also great but with current restructure a lot of change took place and vacancies have been reduced leaving a lot wondering what will happen next. There is still room for improvement for the HR as they are not 100% with equipping employees with info and resources.
Pros: Huge company with lots of opportunities
Cons: Uncertainty with a lot of restructuring and retrenchment. HR not as broad therefore causing a delay.

Excellent industry to gain various skills
Edcon has given me a chance to be of great excellence. Allows one to prove themselves in offering a good service. Has a lot of rewards and opportunities. Strick management and a field of professionalism. I have learnt to respect time and other people's views.

I have learned many skills because I'm the person like to learn new ideas
I'm a team worker because I believe we can achieve more and like communication in our company. I like challenging job so working with the customers can be but most of I knew how to handle them and never let them leave without being setified.
