It iaitit was normal working days and my relationship with my co-workers was great. I have learned a lot fro from the company n have grown. I ejoyed my work until I got retrenched. The most challenging part of the job was I it kept me on my toes n I had to do my tasks always on time although I managed.itjust a normal workiit ng days

Good learning curve
I as a employee was not happy with the treatment i got from Edcon due to management that was not fair to me as a employee, but so far I did enjoy working for Edcon bcouse i learn a lot and now i have a lot of experience how to deal with customers

Friendly environment to engage with different characters
Working at the retail requires a lot of passion and persistence and work work as well and finally tolerance to understand different types of people. The work can not being complete without any help from your co worker so team work places a major role and from my experience my co worker heavy been awesome and helpful to make the job done.Yo be a good retail associate you need to be a good listener and have a good communication skills and willingness to help. I personal enjoy egengaimg

Excellent learning curve
The best part about my job is meeting different people everyday day with different personalities and also knowing that they can trust me to give them the best shopping experience, advise them accordingly and to their needs. And I have been able to learn alot from my counter manager, like how to run a successful business, that's almost always trading up on a monthly basis, the leadership skills that are required to be great Manager and how to manage people and we have team of 6 people altogether and we work well together, and as much as we have personal targets, we also know that we need to help each other to achieve our target and also by focusing on the bigger goal which is to achieve the monthly target. The challenging part of my job is only when we do not have enough resources to make our target, we do alot of demonstrations to be able to show the customer what the product can do and the power of actually feeling it, which immediately creates a connection.

I have been doing Release Management for the past 12 years and Change Management six years.
Typical work day is to review and analyze all change requests with a view to minimize the risks for deployment. We are a team of 5 workers whereby all changes are investigated in detail to ensure quality governance. We live in a changing environment and in order to ensure that our business is protected at all times. I enjoy working with with my staff and as long as the job gets done. The most challenging part of my job is when things go wrong and in turn learning how to root the problem at it's core.

Furthering my experience and helping the company to archive its goals
I will say edcon is an excellent company when it comes to customer service and they offer many training for its employees. They offer so much support to its employees.
Pros: I have worked in may different departments within edcon.As stockroom manager,as Credit manager and Store assistant manager

Good experience
My company has made me to be under pressure when its time to work and to also be fast and knowing that the customer is the main purpose we there. Working with my co-workers is so good via team work but our managers promote favouritism at work place. I have learned to open accounts for customers, cellphones specialist, visualising the department and serving customer.

Great strategic learning, lots of focus around culture
My experience has been great, I got lots of focus around strategy and culture improvement. I also spent a lot of time building internal and external talent pools and performance management. I enjoyed the exposure and flexibility.
Pros: I owned my role and profile and could create customized solutions for my division.
