Great learning experience as we face alot of operation and maintenance problems at eskom
I work at Eskom as an engineer in training in the bulk materials handling department where we work with various machines ranging from the ash stacker, coal stacker, coal reclaimer, buffalo feeder, coal and ash conveyor belts, ash and coal silos, coal and ash wash down draining system with clarifiers and treatment plants which include a lot of pipework, actuators and valves. I work with engineering change proposals and changes, commissioning of systems, reviewing of design, operation and maintenance manuals and ensuring that when failure occurs, the necessary steps to have the problem not repeat itself and also better the plant design and operation.

I am a semi skilled electrician i am looking for a job of electrician . I did my course at Ekuruleni artisans training centre ..i am a hard worker who is willing to learn more new things ..i have no experience as i am seeking for a job i need to have experience so i can fulfill my strength and increase my knowledge of electrician ...i would be happy if i could get job based on Electrical .. Excellent place of work
Best company to work at. Salary is great. Benefits are amazing. Work hours is great. Overtime paid is fantastic. I would totally go back to this company if given the opportunity. Management is great and company procedures are all in place and adhered to by all staff. Good friendly working environment. Some racism issues still but I guess that goes for every company, but a great work place really. The best job I've ever had!
Pros: Everything is great and well in order, great salary, great hours. Increases benefits. Top notch!
Cons: I just think there's so much uneducated people working there who can't even speak proper English yet they are getting paid top salaries and these are people that could be coming from retail environments previously but because of bee they get the job.

New career challenge
My typical work day would include reviewing the audit work performed by my subordinates .This encompasses IT Governance reviews ,infrastructure audits and Risk Assessmentsts. Then i would prepare presentations for management committees and risk committees.
Pros: diverse working environment
