Working at Eskom created a new platform in my mind set towards Mechanical Engineering as a Fitter. I really enjoy working my work and I trust and believe my skills, experience and knowledge could be a bonus for any company that will hire me . I truly believe that my work is highly professional because I w, tested and found competent as I gained my Trade test certificate.I really respect my work so much and eager to enhance quality standards to any company willing to hire me as Mechanical Fitter. trained

Excellent Learning curve
I trained and completed my In-service as Electrical technician at Eskom which took a period of a year from march 31 2017 to February 28 2018. My duties were to perform maintenance, fault finding on HV protection equipments and commissioning, prior joining Transmission division of Eskom as a trainee Electrical Technician I had been with other two companies in which my duties in both were different. In 2013-2014 exactly a year I worked as electrical machinery coil winder for WCJ Electrical and also randomly performing other duties such as testing the motor. However, in 2012-2013 also another full year I worked as Electrical Technician Assistant for U & S Power electronics, the following were my duties, repairing variable speed drives PC boards, repairing variety of electronic devices, panel wiring and installing electrical heavy duty cables.

Excellent learning curve
Working for this organization was the most exciting and best thing that has ever happened to me. Knowledge gained has advance my growth development skills. Career development participating has improved industry experience. Learned a lot within the short term.

Excellent learning curve
ESKOM is a good company but with workers politics.Training new workers it’s a problem and old workers have politics of their own and they are jealous.I have learned construction of an electrical network and maintaining LV and MV network.Doing Low Volatge calls fixing house meters

Excellent academic growth
It was great face new challenges of problems everyday. Great support from executives . Freat work environment and culture . Working long hours most of the time was challenging but reward from great improvement

Excellent learning curve
The relationship between me and my colleagues was god's I have good communication skills and I have learnt how to respect , communicating with customers and house keeping. I enjoyed the experience that I got and working with my colleagues,the challenging aspect is when a customer is always right

Excellent place of work
Best company to work at. Salary is great. Benefits are amazing. Work hours is great. Overtime paid is fantastic. I would totally go back to this company if given the opportunity. Management is great and company procedures are all in place and adhered to by all staff. Good friendly working environment. Some racism issues still but I guess that goes for every company, but a great work place really. The best job I've ever had!
Pros: Everything is great and well in order, great salary, great hours. Increases benefits. Top notch!
Cons: I just think there's so much uneducated people working there who can't even speak proper English yet they are getting paid top salaries and these are people that could be coming from retail environments previously but because of bee they get the job.
