Good day, I believe its very important to have a great relationship with your colleagues and peers. Most of your time or day, you are at work and you should make it as pleasant as possible, for yourself and those around you. Team work is important, as well as self-development. I am currently studying toward a diploma in Cost and Management accounting, so I believe, its always good to have the passion and drive to always be willing to learn.

Excellent learning curve
Fnb was a great place to work, the only problem was lack of growth internally, whereby the vacancies advertised were just a formality for the already favoured individuals. I enjoyed the team I was in mostly, I have learnt to b a team player most of all to b the glue of the team. The job was a breeze, the problem was management.

Great environment
Great environment always learning something new. The people are great, diverse from grad trainees to veterans in the IT space. The people offer loads of energy in terms of new technologies that can be used in the various spaces. Passion for meeting client requirements and delivery on projects of high quality is a big and important deal.
Pros: It has won awards for being the most innovative bank so its a wonderful experience to be a part of it

Awesome People Culture
I work within a young professional team. My typical day involves most often than not back to back meetings with various stakeholders from various product houses. these meetings either center around the stakeholder requirements or updates on future / current workloads. The most challenging aspect of my job description is getting the various stakeholders on the same page from a business delivery perspective.

My experience with customers
A typical work day for me at fnb is assist customers daily helping them make payments and navigating th digital banking channels... My relationship with my Co workers is strictly professional and have fun sometime s aswell as helping each other getting the job done and how it should be done... I have learnt a lot how to communicate a, how to help each other personally and clients and also thought me that the customer is always right and its my responsibility to keep the customer happy and well informed on changes with the bank and there accounts... I enjoy helping others, communicating I love challenges which means there's room for growth.... The most challenging is when I personally need to stay calm when the customer is experiencing a problem and have to find help so I can satisfy my client

Excellent opportunity for learning about banking industry and products.
FNB as it is well known for being an innovation champion is a best place to persue a career within the banking industry, this as the opportuniy for learning is key and the is no seniority. Great place to work as each day is a challange. The atmosphere is to die for, filled with different activities to keep staff or employees motivated, and the is a open door policy. As an administrator this all helps a lot especially because in my line of work interacting with different department's is key to get the job done, the key hear being to always put the interests of the client first. In this fast paced environment one has to apapt and always ask questions in order to be the best in delivering work of the highest quality. One has to be ethical, effective, accountable, helpful and innovative.
Pros: great opportunity to learn as you are exposed to all the greatest minds in the banking field. Great work environment, great food, great benefits altogether. perfect working hours too. and the dress code is not an issue as long as it is appropriate for work.

Learning curve everyday
I'm a self motivated lady,who takes whatever challenge that comes her way.Currently working as a claims assessor.my role is to make sure that I sympathise and empathise with clients during their time of mourning.It is an honour to work for the most innovative bank in the country.I enjoy my work as I'm people orientated person.I learn a lot everyday as I deal with different situation on every claim in work on.

Excellent Learning Platform
Always hectic day working with different personalities on a daily basis which is great. Working with a team of colleague's that make your worst day better. I gained a vast experience in banking with my current employer which comes of starting in the financial institution in the late 90's when most of processing was done manually. I'm a people's person and enjoy working with customers and advising them on what we offer and giving them knowledge of how banking (financial advice) works . Dealing with high rate customer's who from first point of contact insults you and has a negative attitude even before you try to assist them.
