Cons: Working saturdays but it is compulsary , I don't have a problem as I know that Iam part of the team

Extensive learning curve
Hectic days as we working around turn around times which promotes engagement of all team members to stick to your decision made. As an assessor it promotes application of medical background and experience

I was on the contact centre support learnership for a period of 12months.It was an excellent learning curve i must say, i dealt with GEMS medical aid members & service providers enquiries. What was challenging about the job having to deal with members who could not understand rejections & exclusions of the scheme,however my job was to make them understand & confirm what can be covered & not covered by scheme & also advise on things that they can do to insure they get the best service.I had to consider the level of service first call resolution,greeting communicating in a professional as well as friendly manner,sympathizing with caller & not trying to make the caller feel less important & unappreciated.Also meeting targets,managing time wisely & insuring they we meet SLA's.I worked with a supportive team people who were willing to assist & go the extra mile.I enjoyed communicated with both members & service providers i felt that i was making a difference.

Challenging role is growth
It's a target driven environment where by data capturing of members information is critical along with accuracy,I have a great relationship with colleagues mainly because I assist a lot with any challenges as Im also a 2IC at work,My exposure to the team has taught me a lot of discipline & courage.

Great learning experience
dealing with an irate member and still remain calm be able to give answers to that member, I am a team player with greater efficiency. I have learnt to confirm benefits, reading of claims and processing of membership applications. I enjoy assisting members coming up with solutions solving clients queries. The most challenging aspect is delivering bad news like when claims are not paid by the scheme and member has to pay from their own pocket.

Excellent learning curve
I enjoy what I am doing at the company, I'm just getting bored of doing the same thing everyday. We are more like family, than colleagues at work. I never experienced problems with any of my co-workers. A lot of what I know about administration and medical scheme regulations comes from working at Metropolitan.

Excellent learning Curve
My current role to be taught me patient, to listen and communication skills. As i am working with a medical aid have learned to appreciate small things and be grateful of life. it make me happy when i can hear that i have given the customer the satisfaction they were looking for. The most challenging aspects of my Job when i feel helpless due to the processes that have to follow, benefit exhausted member needs there.

Excellent Teamwork, Great learning experience and Target motivated
I am a highly motivated, organized and driven individual with a strong educational background. Good communicative and coordinative skills. I graduated with a BA in Information Systems and History. Gained knowledge of understanding business and organizational management, group management and consulting.

I am a hard working person who always tries to improve his work
I work in a call centre for medical aid company. I am dealing with different queries from the doctors and members. I enjoy solving members quiry on a daily baisis

Personality
I was nominated by management to be part of the people who redesigned the Gems Learning and Development training manual for a period of 3 months starting from 01/09/17 till 31/11/17; we completed the project and submitted it for approval I have also been appointed as a member of Employment Equity Committee and am the Secretary for that committee
