MTN is a great company to work for. The packages are good. The MTN cult is amazing. The supporting structure is always amazing especially when you have to learn a new thing. They teach you step by step until you get it right.

Great company to work for, you get to work with people from all walks of life and expects from all over Africa. Flat structure no one feels less important. For hardworking people who don’t mind going the extra mile.

Opportunity to expand my horizon
The transition from Vodacom to MTN was huge learning curve in my career. At MTN I was exposed to a large number of new things like; CMA dealings/Staff Issues/Restructuring/Managing huge teams/Managing large budgets. I started working very closely with C-level stakeholders and providing strategic inputs in the organizational objectives which allowed me the opportunities to improve on my communication skills as well as my presentation skills for the relevant audience
Pros: Great opportunity for promotion or to operate at a senior level and be exposed to dealing with C-level stakeholders
Cons: Very manual reporting, dealing with such a large staff compliment people issues was very common

Afew personality traits.
I'm a hard working individual, pays attention to detail. passionate about people and their financial freedom. A typical day is making dreams happen, calming fears, researching, Offering advice, constantly calculating, thinking and looking for better ways of doing things. And attending meetings

Amazing company to work for,
mazing company to work for, people really go all out to deliver service. The only problem is that the man on top does not have a man doing the work in mind only the customer. Employee's extra effort goes unappreciated and becomes a requirement at the end. MTN has lost connection with the true gold they have and that's their employee's end. Great work experience
Mtn is a great company to work for with great benefits, my only problem was working Sundays and public holidays, being away from my kids. I would recommend MTN to anyone who is looking for a job that has great challenges and teaches you a lot of different aspects of business
