My Advisory Practice
My day will always involve the searching for new prospective clients, identifying their needs and offer a value added proposition to them. In terms of my relationship with co-workers it always has to be good because an Advisor you rely on your team to provide the client clients to work with or assist. I have learnt that the more you put in the more you will get out, also that the deal is not sealed until all requirements have been met, giving up is never an option, Perseverance is a necessary quality only to be exercised when necessary which as a professional you need to pick your fights carefully. I really enjoy enlightening prospective clients regarding product benefits, industry laws and any other aspects that they are not aware of. I also really enjoy closing the deal. What I find challenging is the amounts of endless administration the job requires as well finding new clients.

Served the industry well.
My career at Nedbank started 15 years ago from November 2000 to date. Part of my initial responsibilities included Card and Merchant Fraud Investigations. Heading up the Card Forensic Investigations area, within Nedbank. There are seven staff members reporting to me. I represent Nedbank at various Forums including SABRIC (South African Bank Risk Information Centre). I have regular dealings with the three Card Associations, Department of Justice, SAPS and various stake holders, within the banking industry. Interaction and regular meetings with the Card Associations as regulatory body. Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Internal and external investigations of Third Party Vendors I am always willing to learn new things, and give freely of the knowledge I have. I believe that you are never too old to learn and never too young to teach. I pride myself in willingness to learn and grow within a company. Always be positive

Slow progress
Challenging and highly difficult to leave the branch and broaden ones shoulders in other departments Long hours. And tedious uncorolated working processes.

Work day
Dealing with finance queries in the morning, feedback on General ledger debits and authorising payments Responsibility of the End User portfolio is a typical stressfull excercise as it entails more than the finance funcition projects and HR duties, onboarding staff for projects or to replace full time employees Budget review each quarter and adjusting expenditure Vendor review meetings ,Weekly , 8 Vendors within the End User space and the more projects they take on the more vendors to build a relationship with

Great opportunity to grow
Great company to work for Better start working in the morning arrive and start as early as half past six before shift start less destructions and more work done. They love me because i ensure everyone is on the same oage by sharing ideas on how to resolve certain cases as we work with clients documents eg approve applictions for business entities etc. Challenges arise when the business entity cant be approved due to missing documents or one memember is not available to sign as a signatory I enjoy working with both walkin clients and over the phine as long as their query is resolved in time

They provide training upfront so that you can be fully aware with the system. They also provide work shops throughout the year. You work with a strong team helping one another to reach the company goal of which is to put customer first all the time.

Great place to work
Working as a representative is my passion i love my job not only for the money but to change someones life financialy is my calling. Any chance i get to do so Im flatered. Every job has its ups and downs but it call passion to keep calm and work professionally.
