Excellent learning curve

Company with a strong culture, fun working environment . A company that keep it promises to customers. The biggest challenge is shrinkage but that u can overcome . I have learnt the importance of asking for clarification after giving instructions.

Good learning experience

It is good to work at Pep stores I meet different people everyday.I get well with my co-workers but there are those people who are difficult sometimes but I always choose to ignore them. This environment has thought me how to deal with people different personalities and how to react when you are dealing with a difficult customer. The most challenging aspects of this job is crime, the robberies at gun point that is very traumatizing.

Pros: Working with people
Cons: Long hours especially when we are preparing for stock take.

Best way to learn

Good company to work for on daily basis you learn different ways to grow and interact with different people. Teaches you how to stay calm in different situations and handle different complaints. Most challenging was having to write a managerial assessment test whilst being new to the company. Having to put my feelings aside so i could support one off the staff that was going through a difficult personal problem that when i was experiencing the exact same problem at the time.

Pros: Being able to become part off the development pool
Cons: Working long hours under pressure

Excellent learning curve.

Working at my company is enjoyable as you interact with different customers on daily basis. We have a good working relationship. I have learnt that team work is power. What I enjoy most is customer service. The most challenging aspect of my job is to reach daily targets on quiet days.What I also enjoy is a time whereby we attend a prize giving ceremony. We meet with other areas , expressing our team spirit, motivational speakers and setting goals for a new financial year.

Pros: Target bonus if you achieve a month budget
Cons: Long working hours.

Sales target per day

A casual for almost 5 years work 2 to 3 days per week has to wash windows every monday only the casuals clean kitchen n toilet storeroom and the front shop and still do my job of cashier or sales consulting

Pros: No oppertunity at all theres no growth no matter how hard and loyal worker you are
Cons: Hard work per day clean whole store and do your work

Great Company to work for

A very pleasant place of work with lots of opportunities for growth when you are a Hard worker who is passionate about his Job,I loved working with my Store Team,they were always willing to learn and dedicated in their Jobs. What i learnt mostly is that you always have to be yourself in the Job and be open to correction anytime you were wrong. The most challenging part of the Job is that it requires loads of Energy as each day is far different from each other.

Pros: Good platform for career growth
Cons: Being led by people who are not natural leaders

Making a difference

Customers gives me a motivation and a smile to see their faces and the way their happy when you assist them.me and myself always share ideas every day on morning talks on how will beat the budget for the day,I have learnt to go an extra mile for the company and always be honest,I enjoy month end reports with figures because it gives us motivation to go on with good sales..what I find challenging is the last being short of stock and customers asking for things that we no longer have and in that way we have to phone other stores for Transfer's.

Fair rights and privilegdes

There are barely internal promotions. Most of the time, applicants from outside are obtaining promotions. There's no provision of security. I have learnt a lot when it comes to company rules and culture

Team work

Multi tasking from being a cleaner, security ,till operator,unpacking abd replenish stock to customer services .working half day everyday which costs you mostly on transport far

Working at Pep Stores taught me how to treat people with dignity and Respect.

Being a pep Dynamo it's an an excellent working experiences I had I now know how to deal with customers and staff.Managing stock inventory doing admin according to company's policy. Pep Marketing strategic it's a plan of action that guide's to promote and sell products to the right people. For example at Pep store our customers are the right people. Pep is looking out at their customers. The are remarkable people who are very in small budget but make it possible for their families to live with dignity and pride.

Pros: Peps cause is to make it possible for everyone to feel good and look good.Without this remarkable people Pep would not survive.Our marketing strategy at Pep is a plan to attract and keep our current customers delighted.Plan can not be in place where there is no goal. Peps goal is called vision and Mission.Pep mission is delighted customer our focus and pleasure.We are the friendliest and most trusted retailer offering center products service at the lowest price.
