Excellent learning curve
i have a good relationship with my workers. i have learnt how to work with customers and be patient. i had a few tests also that taught me about what i do. when i get home i am tired as hell because i am on my 2 legs most of the day so thats really tiring. what i enjoy most is the 2 days i get off every week that really is fantastic. the most challenging aspect of my work i would say is talking infront of all my staff members.

It was an excellent place to gain experience
It was a good place to start and learner new thing Interacting with good and stubborn clients Most of the days it's a good place to be but fewer days will be a nightmare like monthends and promotional weekends. Challenging situation would be to deal with a client that is in a bad mood

Experienced
I have worked for the above mentioned company for seven years and nothing has changed and i need to explore my experience to where is needed. Sometimes i feel like i have over stayed at the above mentioned company, you go extra mile but the is no recognition from the executives. So i don't want to feel i am being used and if a good offer come my way i will grab it with open arms

Chaotic,unstrategic & disorganised
Chaotic,unstrategic & disorganised All manual processes. No clear direction. Poor management & leadership skills. A typical work day consists of you doing the same manual process all day. Constant operational problems result in more manual work being put on your plate. Inexperienced managers who lack decision making skills or strategic long-term thinking are constantly implementing temporary, counter-productive solutions. A toxic company culture results in constant disrespectful treatment where educated professionals are treated like they are there to be used and abused.

You learn a.lot about retail indusrty
It is a good environment to work under with lots of challenges ,my experiences with staff was great we had an understanding. I loved being on the shop floor trading ,wht i didn't like is the red tape from my company decision makers

EXCELLENT LEARNIG EXPIRIENCE
I HAVE LEARNED TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE AND COPING VERY WELL. I AM HONEST PERSON WHO IS VERY FRINDLY WITH EVERYONE IN A WORK PLACE,I ENJOY WORKING WITH DIFFERENT CULTURE OF PEOPLES.

Long working hours
Everyone is out to get the other.... Staff is back stabbing individuals and management pick their favorites and the rest is rubbish. All that management do is complain and even with the already long working hours they expect you to work even more without compensation.

Excellent learning curve
In fmcg retail you learn that customers want and need a certain level of attention it must be more personal than open sales. I learn all aspects of the business in the two years I was there.

Excellent learning curve
The most challenging aspects of the job was difficult customers. Through my job at Pick n Pay I acquired customer skills to assist with difficult customers. My co-workers were always pleasant and willing to assist where possible if need be.

Excellent learning curve
My co workers were nice, besides my store manager he treated us like trash he didnt care besides his management team. Otherswise working at pick n pay was nice besides the salary was to small especially to us checkout assistance
