When i started at pick n pay i enjoy my work but now i don't enjoy it anymore the workers is unfriendly you don't really learn much because they don't give you a change to prove your self and i like to learn the most challenging aspects is the people that you work with there

Assisting customers with queries,promote products in store, one on one talks with staff every month to see on how to continue improving our services. social responsibility, meeting with customers to hear their complains and complement to help in improving our service, Give monthly reports to management.

Excellent learning curve
It's a good company I have learnt a lot at pick n pay head office my relationship with co-worker was great I enjoy being with my supervisors and co- workers we were like family if one is sick we would collect money and buy them gifts and if one of us' s family pass on we would hire taxi and go on Thursday to know the funeral arrangement and give that person money to buy things and we would hire a bus or taxi to go to the funeral to support them I did not have challenges because we were like family and the job we were doing was sent to cape town head office and we were retrenched

The don't give bonuses to employee
My Name is Ridovhona Nesane i have Diploma in financial accounting and now am studying bachelor in financial accounting with university of south Africa i have two years experience in cash office dealing with petty cash and float,i am hard working person who can work under pressure and willing to go extra mile for the company to meet its mission and objective.I have good communication skills with customers and am team leader with computer skill like recon,Excel and pastel. I will appreciate if you get back to me thank you so much.

Good experience
I would say it is OK working at my current job.BT if it was up to me,I would rather work at a different company.I say this because the working hours are hectic.And also the management is not well organised.I enjoy the fact that I get along with everyone so it makes working easier.the difficult part is the amount of money you get paid.But it is good because it gave me experience and meeting new people.

I have worked for Pick n Pay Hyde Park in 2004 as a cashier, where I learned to operate a till, amongst other things I learned customer service and was a reliving supervisor for the front line department. In June 2008 I moved to our Support Office in Kensington where I worked as an Admin Clerk for 3 years. Then I was promoted to a Validation Clerk (accounts department) in December 2012 to date.

I'm learning a lot
I'm working very hard I know customers service. How t deal with a customer. Problem is that we earn peanuts and we don't get any bonus. So I want a job that is very challenge. I'm a strong hard worker im not afraid of my job.. I do enjoy my work too much. I enjoy when we do cashups cos I always balance. I have a good relationship with my co-workers even thou they like gossiping they talk too much and bad.. What I hate about this job is that we knock off at night since start working at 7am-8pm which is unormal hours.

I learn so many things at pick n pay more special when solving problems,how you treat customers.
I am the person who learn fast.at pick n pay they teach me so many things like.how to operate the business,how to handle the customers and they also teach me about how we atract the customers as well as the bussines service.so if i can be given a chance i can prove my self.
