Great sales experience
I had a great experience in sales and marketing. My whole year with the sanlam group was overwhelming and unforgettable. The manager there was very supportive and his mentoring skills were great. The challenging part of my job was having to sell the same products to the same group of people and convincing them to join your policy, this was also exciting at some times.

Good learning curve
I have a very good relationship with my co-workers.I respect them a lot.I have learned a lot of things that things must be done in time. Challenges are that when coming to deal with difficult clients but I'm always calm with them.

Computer skills
It challenging job, meeting different people everyday,and Ive good relationship with my colleagues because we shared ideas on how to get business since we commission earners,it have challenge since no work no pay even you not okay you have to work because at the end of the day you need to get paid

Working a wonderful experience and explore.
I have worked with many companies and if I may say they were all a great stepping stone towards my dreams. I enjoyed meeting with clients in a professional way and also learned a lot about the company and the service they render. At Sanlam we all worked to please our customers and learnt that team work is everything before our positions. What was most challenging was saying NO to a client instead I always listened and ensured that their needs were met with a smile on my face. Another challenge was marking sure that everytime me and my senior colleague met the highest score before the deadline. Working with Sanlam showed me how to ask for second opinion if you are not certian instead of giving out incorrect information. Working with Sanlam has given me the chance to change the way I used to think happened in the cooperative world.

My work journey
The work I am doing allows me to meet different kind of people. I work in different locations in one day. It is important yovwork as a team because ifvthecdayvis not going well ,you get to encourage each other.I have learnt that even though we work as a team but it is important to know and understand you individual goals and needs.I have enjoyed travelling and meeting different kinds of people and yo know that i have made a difference in their lives financially.the most challenging aspect of this job is to leave your comfort zone.

Good
It very hard to work with at your own car and expense but month end you earn R0 . It better to use what you had in your pocket that spending for nothing.Good thing is meeting different people daily and the staff is very nice and hands on .

Great insurance management and field work exposure
I was with a franchise selling Sanlam products and a great learning curve as this was my first fully in field management position. Enjoyed the flexibility and opportunity to coach and guide on the go. Also working for a largely family orientated business made for a pleasant and supported environment.

My Daily jobs
I action replacements, ensure that PDD/FAIS by intermediaries is followed, actioning Section 14's,3's and plan 27's. Updating intermediaries on unpaid debit orders, lapses and requirements for the plans to issue.

Learned a lot
Mynormal day at work is okay, have a good relationship with my colleagues. I have learned so much in terms of admin, claims and proffessionalism. The challenging thing with this job is that we have few stuff members in our team I love the fact that there is so much growth within the company if you're willing and dedicated

High income however it is tiring .
Too many man hours and not enough spare time to spend worh the family. No basic salary and only commission earned to carry you for the month is a really daunting feeling if you do not have clients to see.return
