Wonderful experience working at sanlam. Flextime options and convenience with a mini mall for staff. Management can make it break this review as most things are allowed at managers discretion.

Good learning curve
There is no good support for employees. There's no growth especially education wise. Employees are expected to deliver regardless. Management eager to sell nothing else.

Excellent environment to work in it , it gives me an opportunity to serve clients accordingly
it is a great environment to work in, it gives mw an opportunity to comminicate and rander service delivery to the client , i work a lot with client one on one everyday assisting them with what they need at that moment, my relationship with my co-workers is very healthy they are good people to work around and with them , i have learned the batho pele principles and working independetly and under pressure,i enjoy most helping aclient to get what they want and also to work under pressure, the most chalenging part of the job is not being able to assist the client to their satisfaction.

A typical work day is me sittinh behind a pc making sales speaking to clients. always have a great relationship with my co workers as i believe i am a great peoples person. Sanlam has just taken my professionalism to the next level and given me the opportunity to better my self. I enjoy speaking to the customers. The most challenging part of my job is to convince certain clients who may not be interested in what im selling and persuade them that they might need it

Great work experience

Helping peaple
My duties on my current job is to sell sanlam products prospect for new business and also do client service as to assist client when doing cash withdrawals and assist them with any claims aswell as ammendments on their policies . The expirience i got is to always be in a position to assist client even if its after hours, and the most challenging part of my work i came across is to earn in advance and later being clawed back all the salary onced earned regarding clients who failed to pay premiums as per their contract, the most excitingg part that i enjoyed is to assit peopple to make write choices or decisions regading their moneys in term of saving it and also planning about their future together with securing mone by avoiding loans to do burials while they can plan by paying little premiums on mothly basis.

Skills developed
It is a very wonderful environment to work at and great team at death claims, I have learned a lot here, I learned to be a team player, hard work pays a lot here because good performance is the goal, stress tolerance and to work under high volume of pressure. I enjoy my work because we help those in need of funeral assistance. My challenges is that some days we are faced with a lot of claims to process within the service level agreement of paying the claim within 4 hours, so that might be my challenge for me to make sure that I pay valid claims.
