Excellent learning curve
My daily duties is to investigate crime where i have to deal with complainants of crime and work together with the prosecutor to solve cases. As an investigator, i work well will my co-workers to address crime. In my field i get more challenge and it help me to study more to overcome such and so far i can say i am shaped to be a better investigator.

Excellent learning place
I've learnt more than I could've in any other place as I've notice how people react to the regulations of the administration and how most people dislike the truth. the politics which I've learnt how to maintain your ground and stand up for yourself at every turn.

Challenges
Always on the computer capturing information of arrested suspects and also analysing crime on the system. Relationship with my boss is very good. Challenging part is that there are no resources and you expected to complete your job.

Exellent working experience to start learing
A typical working day started at to open all the new letters that they have received and to give it to the different offices. We had a good communication between co-workers and visitors and officers that came to the office. I have learned to listen with compassion when people speak and have respect for other. I have enjoy the atmosphere of the positive attitude the people had in the office. To learn new things every day was the most challenging for me and I did enjoy it

I excel in what I do as a detective officer
I am a prominent in the saps under the detective unit nd i work very well with my co-workers. Respect it is the first priority that i have learn and mostly that i should also respect the members of the community..I apply batho pale principles in most cases. The challenges that i sometimes face its when i have to go and arrest and only to find out that the suspect its my colleague or a family member..but I have over come that challenges, when am on duty i don't have to mix business with pleasure..
Pros: There great opportunities in promotion since I know that am a hard worker and I am also empowering myself by attending skill course..

Be alert, investigation, arrest and convictions
It is stressful , challenging, manageable. It is a big area, lots of work educational better than rural areas. Team work, perseverance is very crucial at this policing area. Willing to work overtime anytime required even when the organization does not have overtime remuneration, and get a rest day. I get excited when a client/ complainant is satisfied with my service and thank me verbally.
