Excellent learning curve.

the company is an IT company which is an ever changing environment - that is one challenge. Therefore even as an HR person you posed with a challenge of adapting to those changes so that you can better respond to the advancement of technology.

Pros: Good experience as you end up being technology savvy in order to adapt.
Cons: Because IT is ever changing poses as a challenge on its own as it puts more pressure on HR to always be on top.

Excellent Salary

I have learnt a lot from my previous employ at SITA, however I was not growing career-wise as well with technological advances. At times I felt left out because of training opportunities that were not been afforded to enable me to perform to my optimal best.

Pros: Good working relations and environment
Cons: Lack of growth.

Excellent lurning curve

Ensure the services is up and running I’m responsible for the managing of the operational health of three different critical applications. Troubleshoot/Analyse the infrastructure components during a system outage and identify where the problem area is, then engage with either internal service provider or contracted vendor until resolution. Ensure system vulnerabilities are identified and mitigated by managing internal service providers and contracted vendors. Be operationally involved and manage incidents to ensure functional and end user support is performed on these system. This includes all training requirements.

Used Winforms, ASP.net WPF, MS SQL Server, Windows 10, Powershell, cmd.

I cannot see anything here I think that this might be aj JavaScript error or something. I am writing and not seeing any of my text.This is not encouraging me to continue to use this service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Development

Typical work day is to look at the new trends on the market and how are they going to help to improve how we do things, Advice the company on the new innovations available that may benefit the organisation. Looking at the opportunities. The relationship i have with my team is good, I listen to their ideas and also help them into exploring and advice on how well to perform their activities or tasks. I've acquired communication skills, listening skills and leadership skills. I enjoy Business Architecture work lately, with the help of my business analysis background. the most challenging aspect of the job is telling the business that some of their requirements are not realistic and trying to convincing them, especially if their mind is made up

Excellent learning curve

A typical day at work involves meetings with vendors and suppliers, completing incidents within SLA, completing projects. Relationship with co-workers is very professional, and everyone helps each other where possible. I have learnt to take lead in project and be self-sufficient. I enjoy learning new things everyday. The most challenging aspect is the fact that when something goes wrong it affects everyone in the organisation.

Has the freedom to apply own initiative and technology to reach self set milestones.

The SAPS IT Network environment is large and dynamic. Due to this, every day I realize how much opportunities arise to integrate the available information in such a way that the dynamics can be measured and control. No micro management and ever changing business processes creates the opportunities to be creative and proactive on a continuous basis.

I joined SITA(State Information Technology Agency)

Hi, I started my career with SA Air Force as a HR practitioner. All functions in the Human Resource division were handled. Started with INFOPLAN in 1994 as Functional Application Support. I have supported the PERSOL system of the Department of Defence. In Jul 2000 I joined SITA(State Information Technology Agency) I work there as Business Analyst and functional Application Support from 2000 until 2018. I am willing to relocate to any place in South Africa.

Working condotions

Excellent company working on govt projects and dealing with chief directors of all departments. Iniatiated the NEAS system in 2004 for dept of environmental affairs which is still being used today and has been enhanced by providing GAP analysis throughout life of system.

Pros: Dealing with high level directors
