I meet deadlines like turn arond SLA turn arounds on monthly basis and run reports. I am able to communicate well at a senior level. I deal with queries on daily basis. I am able to meet customers expectations. I am friendly and able to with my co-workers. I assist them when needed. My self esteem has grown. The most challenging aspects is dealing with dealing with queries on daily basis, and do salary break downs.

Standardbank
Very busy environment. We serve at least 28 countries across africa and the United Kingdom. Its is a huge learning curve and very diverse. The culture and atmosphere in the bank is great. I enjoy working with the people.

In my current role I manage fastest growing Digital Sales Call Centre environments within the bank. My span of control includes the Outbound, Inbound Call Centre and Admin Support. In the past year, I’ve been instrumental in shaping the high performance culture that is evident in my team. On a daily basis I need to apply and review the annual operating plan to ensure its effective implementation supporting the contact Centre’s goals of effective and efficient customer centric service delivery within the risk framework of the Bank. To interpret and apply the contact Centre’s employee engagement plans to build a team of team leaders/Managers and agents that are motivated, inspired, suitably skilled and focused. To work with other managers and business stakeholders to remove operational obstacles and ensure implementation of customer value proposition.

New Challenge
My role as a Specialist in Transactional Product banking services is primarily a sales position; focusing at initiating sales and performing an advisory function for new client acquisition, cross-selling and up-selling initiatives across business banking clients. My responsibilities also entail converting leads, retaining and growing my portfolio of transactional banking clients.

Challenging and exciting
I have learned a lot working for standard bank. In the past I actually convinced myself that i am not good working with numbers but working for standard bank changed it, balancing my till everyday is always a miracle as we all say, its a nerve racking process because you can either be be on a surplus or deficient, which is why its crucial to be vigilant at all times. We close the branch at 3:30 every day but most days we can be at the bank till 18:00pm. Working in teams is like everyday life. My co workers are very helpful and we make sure that we meet sales target on a daily basis. The customers are different in all ages. I've learned to be patient and assertive.

Fairly good
Working in the bank is challenging but fun , you learn a lot of new things on a daily basic , helping customers has always been my passion and going the mile to give them the best that I can , from thinking I was not a people's person and working in the banuking industry has changed my perspective of who I am and how I am, it's been a good journey and it has its pros and cons to each day , not everyday is a good day as some customers can be difficult at times but it's something that I deal with always and give them the benefit of the everything as they say customers are always right.

Excellent learning Platform
My day at work is always a busy day which includes travelling on a daily basis to my six branches. I have a very good relationship with the staff members within my cluster and outside my cluster. I have learned that people are not the same however one needs to treat each staff members with respect and dignity. I enjoy working with my team because as a team we are able to achieve our goals together. The most challenging aspects of my Job is people that i work with have hectic schedules and tight deadlines and sometimes it becomes a challenge to them to also make sure that they include quality assurance as part of their daily work duties.
