My typical work at the office entails drafting of various contracts, responding to stakeholder queries, providing legal advice, and conducting legal research. In terms of the soft skills, I manage lawyers in the team and would assist the team in terms of their drafting work, upskilling junior lawyers. My preferred leadership is one that shows empathy and care while being firm and assertive. Since joining Standard Bank, I enhanced my stakeholder engagement and have become more open-minded. I continue to learn a lot from my stakeholders and continue to develop skills on how to handle the passionate that come with business colleagues.

Project Support Office Manager
Been in a project environment there is never a dull moment - a very fast paced (always need to be ready). I would like to think that I have a great relationship with my co-workers especially working in a big team you always need to be seen as approachable. I have learnt not to take things personal and that we are in a constantly changing environment. I enjoy interacting with various types of people. The most challenging aspect of my job is the changing environment as one builds relationships with people.

Good for leadership skills
It's a good place for you to grow in a business industry and a good platform for your leadership skills You learn how other financial companies work,how they treat their companies,how you as a bank can up your level to meet the demands of your customers It's a place where you get removed from your comfort zone and be a leader in your team

No growth
Enjoy working with my colleagues as we have a good relationship but the work is not good and nice, too systematic, no growth and development at all. No support form management in any way, you on your own in all you do. No sense of change in thinking an doing things, still stuck in the past and cannot go forward.
