Excellent place to grow and learn
Working at standard bank was really great. We were like family we knew each other very well, because we actually spend the whole day with each other. Everyday i always wake up with a smile on my face looking forward to go to work,it was really nice being around each other. We treated each other with respect, love and we were always working as a team. Working at Standard bank made me to fully understand how important it is to have great team dynamics in today’s multi-disciplinary business environment. The most challenging part is that there was no enough staff and it was a busy branch but we always manage because we were always working as a team in order to give a good service. Thanking the customers for banking with us, and customers saw that we really love them and we care. So I did bear in my mind that if we work as a team we can conquer.
Pros: Good place to grow and teach your self new things and everyone is willing to assist you.
Cons: There was no enough staff but I now know how to work under pressure.

Great learning experience.
A typical day for me is assisting customers with opening up banking accounts as well as other banking related services. My co-workers and I have a great relationship and they have helped me tremendously. They always push me to do my best. I have learned how to deal with difficult customers, show empathy and try to help them to the best of my ability. What I enjoy most about the experience is that each and everyday is a learning opportunity with different challenges. The most challenging aspect the job would be dealing with difficult customers.

Great Business Partner
I have extensive experience in Business Partnering, having been exposed in Consulting, Talent Management, Recruitment, IR, etc. I work as a generalist employee and with lots of projects and ad hoc request.One of my strength is building relationships and have good and trusting relationship with colleagues. Learning is an everyday thing in my work as each day provides a different challenge.

Quick Learner, adaptable, Resilient, Action Orientated, Strategic, Self Motivated,Servant leader.
I working in a HR team with 6 colleagues, we work hard to ensure we meet the deliverables for the business no matter what. Currently I get to work at 7am do my admin and reply to emails. I'm either in the Branches or client meetings during the day or working to meet deadlines. I enjoy that no two days are the same and the pace is fast. I'm constantly on the move. The most challenging aspects of the job, is that the pace of change is so fast that something can change more than once in a day. I draw on my ability to be adaptable, resilient and my close relationship with the business to remain on top of things.

Excellent
Through my work experience I grown to understand how to work with other people and different kinds of divisions under pressure and also be able to make the able to understand what is required through my effective communication skills.

Excellent learning curve for my career
I currently work in the foreign exchange field for over 10 years now. I am very well equipped to work in any organisation as I have the customer experience. I deal with foreign exchange queries on a daily basis, whereby customers make international payments and then for some reason experience an issue abroad. We deal with the foreign banks to resolve this. I am also studying towards an HR Diploma with Intec College and would love to be given an opportunity in this field. I am a fast learner and hard worker.

I love working with people as they inspire me in so many ways and am always open to suggestions.
I really enjoyed working at standard bank,working with people is overwhelming for me as you get to understand deferent people all the time and I had full support from the whole team.No work place is can really be strong if there’s no strong people in it,I mean mentally,that’s what I experienced with my former colleagues and I will miss that.
