The time I worked at the bank I learnt a lot
On a day to day the work load was alot as we were always short staff. Trying to reach your daily target was sometimes very difficult as you could never only focus on one job. I had a good relationship with the people I worked with. Good understanding and communication. I learnt how to manage a team and take control of a situation. The most challenging aspect of the job was when the systems would not work properly and you still have to reach your target for the day.

Challenging and exciting
I have learned a lot working for standard bank. In the past I actually convinced myself that i am not good working with numbers but working for standard bank changed it, balancing my till everyday is always a miracle as we all say, its a nerve racking process because you can either be be on a surplus or deficient, which is why its crucial to be vigilant at all times. We close the branch at 3:30 every day but most days we can be at the bank till 18:00pm. Working in teams is like everyday life. My co workers are very helpful and we make sure that we meet sales target on a daily basis. The customers are different in all ages. I've learned to be patient and assertive.

Excellent in figures , problem solver , good learner
Experience in equity , bonds ,.money market and international stocks, month end reporting, reg28 and compliance mandate. Bank reconciliation and general ledger and income statements. Been in the financial industry for more than 10 years , pension fund , Retirement and unit trust experience.
