Acquired good financial & technical skills
Analysis & Developing business process Getting requirements from subject matter experts. Documenting developing & updating processes for review and for sign-off to be published on a web browser for availability to anyone within the organization who might require this info. Attend project meetings updating action,risk,issue logs on SharePoint. Update configuration strategy documents.ensure that project documentation governance is in place using Prince 2 methodology. Meeting room bookings. Catering & ensuring that meeting logistics are in order.

Wonderful Learning oppurtunities
Working at Standard Bank can be tough but exciting. There are always new experiences every day and something new to learn. My typical day consists of a morning meeting, then assisting clients via phone or via email resolve any concerns or complaints they may have. Our department works well as a team and fully support each other. I have learnt so many things, and I am still learning every day. I love helping people and bringing a smile to our clients faces. The most challenging part of the job is when there is nothing that can be done legally for a client or when a client is abusive.

Exposure to various technologies
I have learnt a lot at Standard Bank Working with various application has given me exposure to multiple technologies. The working environment is very lively and vibrant. Working with people is great because you get to learn something from someone else, you can never know all the answers, so I have learnt that asking questions is very important. I enjoy working with people because everyone will bring a fresh perspective.

Good grounding and foundational opportunities
career development plan, I made a lateral move towards technical management and was one of two candidates, given the responsibility of Infrastructure Production Management. I left the company in early 2008, after completing a course in Interior Design and moved to Cape Town in the hopes of starting my own design studio. However, due to the property market fall and dip in the economy in 2008, my plans were placed on the back burner, and I sought employment back in production management for a plastics manufacturing company.
