Great company
Operations is a slave driving experience. You can bend over backwards or even snap ur back and it goes unseen. Let's not get into the leadership frenzy. Really sad indeed

Excellent place to work for
Very nice place to work for easily accessible and the coworkers are great nice working hours i entered the bank via learnership and was converted but no growth after that

It was a steep learning curve, but a great one.
Standard Bank Group sets the standard for high in the banking industry, its is also the largest bank in South Africa, it offers a variety of retail and commercial banking, corporate and investment banking, investment management. The bank gives out great oppotunities, like studying and uplifting people.

Learning to handle finances
Service and sales focus workplace. Looking after business and personal financial needs and meeting them based on that particular individual / account you dealing with. Helping out people on managing their finances gives pleasure and can be challenging, because no client is the same as the other. Every client you meet you cater based on their needs which was my favourite part because you get to think and see things in that particular accounts needs. Empathy and total dedication to serve is required. It very diverse. Financisl needs analysis is conducted fof every client you meet. Satisfying when clients needs are met. Frustrating when client is not happy, but over the years I've learnt to strive to keep every customer happy. I've learnt the importance for customer retention and growing customers whilst we keeping them. It busy over month- ends period. There is growth in different aspects of the business.

Great stepping stone and learning experience
Company awarded me a great opportunity that I'll always be grateful for. I am happy and ready to move on to greener pastures as well as to evolve and grow, to show my expertise as well as learn some more. I believe I am a teachable someone with a love for people as well as providing great customer care. Everyday was a challenge one wouldn't be able to predict as dealing with people's accounts is tricky. My team and I were always on top of the ball and ever ready to assist one another and other departments ifevertheneed arose as we used all debt review work systems and knew them extensively.

Customer Centric
I have been in a customer service environment for more than 10 years in a management role . My skills and knowledge are my strong points with more emphasis on team management. I enjoy resolving customers problems and being a mentor to my team. Customer challenges are there daily and are resolved.
