The environment is good as I have flexible working hours and I have the option of working from home . The role enables me to sit in Mancos. I get preferential rates on bond and car

I am currently furthering my studies at UNISa

worked at JD Financials– my duties include fraud investigation and SCI charge off, auditing of accounts and debt restructuring. Due to some departments closing down I was transferred to Central Credit. In 2016 I joined Standard bank as fraud analyst. My current position is in the MLSU department where I work as an Analyst. With all the experienced I have I acquired I can now say I am capable of producing excellent result in any project/task that I may be given. I would be grateful and appreciative the opportunity to be a member of your company.

Pros: there is little growth
Cons: working hours are okay. we work 7 to 15:30

Great learning tools

A typical work day in the office was just that. Shift starts at 7h30 and ends at 16h00. During these hours we call clients who requests assistance from the bank and work through their applications either approving or declining their applications. Majority applications would be approved as the clients were in financial distress. Applications that ended up being declined would be where the clients are not in distress and living recklessly with their income.

Excellent stepping stone

I have managed to learn how to perform all functions within the card fraud space. Co-workers are amazing, friendly and always there to assist.The thing what i liked the most was that, i learnt something new all the time like a new fraud trend.

Not much growth , stagnant career, extremely busy. not much free time

you cannot grown you must be able to work long hours and public holidays as well as weekend to make money no support from management always given targets that are unreachable

Excellent learning curve

Worked in defferent department, good communication with my co-workers..learned how to do customer consulting and worked as a ATM custodian�i enjoyed everthing about my work..most challenging thing in my work was constantly switching job tittles�.

Pros: Working for standard Bank is great, one of the busy days are your month end, we are able to take close to 35-45 calls per day assisting our customers. What I have learned to work for this organisation is that without our customers we are nothing,

Being experienced is Important

A normal day would require one to be at work, be vibrant and positive. Working with teams and making sure that people get to enjoy the time spent with you everyday is critical. Supporting the team with my leadership skills and knowledge, reduces the impact on 9ur leader. Giving of myself and what I have learnt. Brings Satisfaction. Because the tram gets to Grow and we get to be on the same place of knowledge. I have learned to be a leader and a team player on a corporate level, vital keys to survival everyday, is to know where you stand

Employee champion and an all rounder generalist

I have worked as a Generalist in different roles from HR Shared Services, Relationship management, Organizational Management and Business Partnership. I have worked closely with the various Centers of Excellence within HR to drive appropriate solutions for the business I support and to drive the HR agenda. This role exposed me to a number of projects including, but not limited to, reward reviews, benefits and tax, performance management, Talent management and Resourcing.
