Great company

Standard bank is a great company.I love the atmosphere at work because we are like family,after all that’s where we spend most of our time.We always support each other,wether it’s work related or personal,we always go out of our way to be there for each other.I have learnt a lot from working in a financial institution,like being an all rounder by assisting other departments when they are in need has helped me to learn other roles without being given the formal training.I enjoy doing what I do because the work I do is not monotonous,it’s different tasks everyday and it keeps me on my toes.The most challenging aspects of my job is when my colleagues don’t do their part as we very interdependent on each other and when one slacks it affects the team.Overall my work is my work is my livelihood and can’t imagine not being given this opportunity to prove myself.

Excellent learning curve

Stability and Growth

I work within a high pressured & dynamic environment where the order of the day is to protect the Banks revenue, safeguarding our clients financials whilst delivering superior customer service and providing peace of mind to our clients and shareholders. I have learnt that Fraud is a 24/ 7 "Always On " responsibility and an emotionally charged negative experience therefore knowing how to engage with people and display empathy, compassion, effective listening skills,keep to promises and place yourself in the shoes of clients are successful ingredients in turning a negative experience around and reinforcing trust, support and loyalty through difficult times. I enjoy working with people, providing Leadership support , servicing customers and particularly enjoy taking to customers as well as fostering a culture of great work ethic and positive employee value proposition. I subscribe to the Servant Leadership Philosophy where my main goal is to serve.

Excellent learning curve

Hi high high volume of cash pay out to various clients, team work is high recommended which daily communications between management and fallow team members and what is more challenging is solve problems between two teams

Excellent Culture. Great workplace policies. Opportunities to learn and grow

Work from home (remote work) is allowed. There are ample opportunities to learn and develop your leadership skills. I enjoy the great open policy culture where there is transparency about a lot of things. I also enjoy the benefits like discounts on home loans, car loans and various other banking products.
