Well transnet is an excellent learning curve if you're still a young guy as i am
Well i'm a hardworker and self motivated. My day to day schedule is sometimes hectic but not all the time,i usually work on both the milling and lathe machines almost everyday. Sometimes the work isn't that much so a person finishes fast and relaxes with co-workers. My relationship with my co-workers is very interesting cos up to so we haven't gotten into any physical fighting ,so I'd consider my relationship with them is very good. I have learned alot of things at transnet, that u should learn to work with people of all race as equal and that you should never give up no matter how difficult Or challenging the job may be.
Pros: Always submitting your work on time and being a team player
Cons: Working overtime may sometimes help you get a promotion but actually it's up to you because it really boosts your pockets

I am able to use my own initiative
I typical day at work is doing technical risk assessment that takes 3 conservative days. I have a good relationship with my co-worker, we work as a team. I learnt to communicate with different people at different levels in the organisation. I enjoy doing awareness and training.
Pros: I am promoted to be leading the YPT team

I worked dispatch at ArcelorMittal warehouse
Sorry bout i can not see what im typing. But im a great worker with a great team that have mybback and respect. Just to do our best every day. I enjoy the motivation of everyone that is willing to do there best. The challenge is do find coil mand update them due crane driver don't update them

Excellent Experience
• Development and Review of Information Security Policies, Procedures and Standards • Providing Information Security and ISO 9001 Awareness Training • Ensuring governance to all ICT Projects • Identification and mitigation of ICT related risks • Ensuring that all ICT Systems comply with the Transnet Minimum Control Framework (CFRC and ITGC) • Monthly review and signoff all relevant controls. • Ensure protection against malicious code • Report and investigate all information security incidents • Ensure compliance to ICT Regulatory (RICA, ECTA, POPI etc.) and ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System) Relationship with colleagues: I had an excellent professional relationship with my co workers, which gelled quite nice with company environment. we assist each other work as team to solve problems and learn new skills to achieve our objectives
Pros: Since I'm the acting Information Security Manager there is an opportunity to grow to the next level.
Cons: Information Security was consisting of 4 individuals, at this point in time I;m the only resource left. Which means I have to try to do all the function that was done by 4 individuals.

Good, fitting,interpersonal basic planning,time managment and communication skill.
Proficient in the use of basic hand tools. ,ability to read and interpret circuitand to use mechanical and electrical instruments.Ability to work at height and cnfined space.adaptability to change, able to work with a team and independently.

Excellent learning curve
My kind of work is a client base kind of work, dealing with service providers and suppliers in relation to projects, my work also gives me a platform to work and learn a lot about about working with people who comes from different backgrounds enabling me to blend in the working environment. Basically i work with security systems (cctv and access control systems) very exciting Job an interception/ combination of Information Technology and Security Industry, doing installations, maintenance,repairs and technical support to security staff. Most prominently to understand the marine security and ISPS Code.
Pros: Great exposure and opportunities to learn
Cons: With the experience I have I'm often seen as lasy to study

Excellent Learning Experience
Applying theory i learnt in class was an amazing and exciting experience and i will forever be greatfull for the opportunity. Not only was is a learning curve academically, i also learnt how to work and team up with people with different age,background,personality, mindset and culture. I worked for Continuous Improvement department,it was challenging and because i love being challenged, it was a good exercise and journey for me. I perfom my best when challenged than doing the routine work which also one of the reason why i chose the Industrial Engineering career path. I was part of the Lean projects done to improve processes and productivity of the organization and i also had my individual projects i did. The role i played and my responsibilities in projects include time studies, activity sampling, 5s, data analysis, Gemba works, Power point presentations and visual management in the yards.
