Reporting manager
A typical day starts at 6am Monday to Friday where I pull reports from SRM on 15 staff members. I feedback to the business on ELA (std. and bespoke). I plan the days events encluding onboarding and onsite staff. Feed back, engagement and meetings regularly takes place to discuss plans organising and execution of all Projects all new business. Highlights and Lowlights are identified. SIP - Service Improvement Planes are initiated snd highlighted on Sharedpoint visable to staff and the sales team detailing TAT. Client visits to ascertain irregularities discuss SLA and to discuss any training requirements. Resolving client escalations. I enjoy the fast growing pase, the diversity if the company and the accolades and positive feedback received from internal and external clients. My most challenging is getting to work after 12am to ensure a successful port in of 3000 lines.

Excellent skill and opportunity provided
I worked in a team of 10 consultants responsible for all Vodacoms Corporate cancellations and upgrades. We were also responsible for queries received from Vodacom dealers, asssiting them with escalation, upgrade quotations and credits. We also deal with all fraudulent upgrades. My team is wonderful, we work together and assist and help wherr we can. We currently do not have a supervisor and we pull together to try and make the best of the teams work. I really enjoy the laughs we have amongst ourselves and also being able to complete challenges together.
Pros: Good company to work for
Cons: Currently our jobs might become redundant.

Great place to learn how to give customers the best Service
I have learned that customers are kings/queens.Never promise a customer something that you won’t deliver. Customers are different and you need to be able to adjust your emotions. To be the best agent you’ll need to have a great relationship with your colleagues.A Customer query never need to stop cause you are not around .Always do a hand over when you know your not going to at work.
Pros: You get to see and interact with different people
Cons: Long working hours and no time to be with family.

Great experience
Working at Vodacom it made me realise that as a person you need to archive your goals and have vision,I have also learn that we come in different back round and have to understand each other ,all can say when you get to work you must work no time for playing around reason being you came in to work not playing around,being an Administrator you learn new things each and every day that really fascinates me a lot, if we having a backlog at work that's how you can relate on how work challenging it is I have learned that as person who need to spread your wings enjoy your work environment relate to others ask questions if you do not understand engage your self with positive minded people don't have bad attitude towards others enjoy your work at all times learn to appreciate help others if don't understand .

Good experience earned with regards to how the telecommunications industry works.
Work day includes (in the tech department in KZN) checking Network Statistics, planning, trialing, optimazation and meetings. Depends also on the subdivision you are in.
Pros: Good for exposure in how the telecommunications industry works.
Cons: Interns are just interns, they don't get any benefits and its hard to be permanent as an intern.

Interesting learning curve
I am looking for a career where there are opportunities for growth, further education and training. I consider myself as a hard working individual and, I am more than prepared to dedicate my career to becoming successful in the Information Technology field. I have always been fascinated with new and developing technology, which not only creates job opportunities but also contributes to making life easier for those in need. I do not want to make a name for myself only; I also want to be the great asset for the company I will be working for, by providing my creativity and willingness to go beyond my job description. IT has always been the driving force behind my work ethic and hunger to learn more especially to such gigantic company. It would therefore be an honour to be provided with the opportunity to contribute to the working class of new age technology at this company.

Working at a Vodacom Store
On a typical day we have do a bit of planning for the day set targets find fun ways to make the targets accomplishable by motivating the team being optimistic as the team leader was more of a must on my part and showing other that being positive and enjoying what we here to do sale n give the best possible customer care there one can give n remembering to smile cause as an individual you bust with outrage if you were given bad customer service so when helping a customer imagine yourself in his/her position them calling or walking they have chosen to deal or be assisted by you so make the best of every encounter. We are all different people but in our differences we come together for a common of customer service, speed n trust in that purpose we can build relationships with our clients and in tern they will be loyal n word of mouth makes the volumes about customer care.
Pros: Talking to different individuals and learning customer trends, behaviour,making money, clients smile, the team and a great of oppurtunity to learn n grow
Cons: long hours, system failure, stock shortages, umsystematic support from superiours
