Learning new skills

I'm a recent graduate in National Diploma in Information Technology(Support Services), I have a one year work experience in Applications Support from Vodacom and seven months experience in IT Junior Support work experience from Gijima. During my life in university varsity, I served as an Academic mentor and a student assistant tutoring other students. I'm fast learner, hard worker, can work flexible under pressure be able to produce quality. Able to work with other people and professionally in teams.

My day at Vodacom

My day at works starts with opening the Vodacom shop. The best part of my day is dealing with my customers. I have a very good relationship with all my customers. I deal with each customer query in a positive way. I have a good working relationship with my Co workers, we get along well and deal with any issues that might appear together as a team. I have learnt a great deal at Vodacom. I learnt how to communicate with all different types of people and personalities. I learnt how to deal with stress in a positive way. The most challenging part of my job is when there is a difficult customer with a problem and i get to sort it out for them, and they leave the shop happy and smiling. That is the part of my job that i enjoy most. Happy customer happy employee.

Pros: I get along with everyone at work, and work in a happy enviroment
Cons: The long distance driving to work has now become financially draining

Good learning Experience

Its a delivery driven unit, with fast pace changes. Excellent team work and collaboration between permanent staff and contracting staff. I have gained more knowledge about Identity and Management (Security Aspect) I have also gained knowledge about Privilege Access Management. I have also gained knowledge about managing Software Development Projects. I enjoy working with teams members with more diverse set of skills. Most challenging aspects of the the job, is working rolling out new application to different parts of the business, its challenging to get buy in especially from the networks and security team.

I am motivated and Hardworking.

I am Kholofelo Teffo. I am currently doing system support, business Continuity Management, and more . My day always start with a stand up meeting at 7:00 where we share the Environment management issues of we have any problems with the server / infrastructure issue, also check any application issues test and if all is well we continue with the day. Who is driving pressing issues that need to be escalated . Start with the review of the incident report and any issues with categorasation of incident we address with the incident management. Look at the list of issues that I am driving and follow up with respective team. As we Re currently going agile I review changes and make sure if they addressed the issue and test cases are available and business has approved and they were informed and proper hand over has been conducted.

Pros: As much as we do everything, we learn a lot in terms of service management. SLA and prioritisation of issues
Cons: I need to grow.

I love what i am doing, id just like to know what i am worth.

To whom it may concern. I work at a retail store an I deal with customers on a daily basis face to face customer care. I enjoy my job however I work 9-9 ad I have a 5 month old baby. I am very passionate about what I do as I get to deal with different customers and cultures on a daily basis, I get to deal with different attitudes and different ages. I current do customer service and I love problem solving, its always a new challenge! The staff is mre like family as I have been their for 3 years hence why its so difficult to move on , I grew very close to all my cco-workers and I love the vibe! I am very happy however one never earns enough in todays dane age, please tell me what am I worthy ?.

Good company but no room for growth

The only problem is that there is no opportunity for level progression. Review of salaries and increases are very small as well. Opportunities should exist within the company to grow employees to fill future roles
