Working in Woolworths have given me opportunity to know what I want in life. I have 11 staff members report to me at customer service.my role is planning,coordinating new staff members.giving training to new people.I have good listening skills.I can work under pressure.stress tolerance is what I've been trained for

Excellent company to work for
Nice company to work for, not stressful, typical slow beginning of the day, not much feedback required by regional managers. Regional managers are good to work under. No pressure working conditions, excellent staff and management working here. You will enjoy working for Woolworths. You get enough days off.

Good learning curve
I am currently employed as a till operator, flexi 28, we normally work 32 days a months depending on our staffing, but the minimum working ours for us 28hours per month, we work 8 hours a day, we are all taught to have a good relationship with each other, that is greeting with smile is the key to creating a positive environment, i have learnt to interact with other people, team work, to always stay positive about everything, and so many other things, what i enjoy most is to engage with with positive people that makes my day to go well and dont get lazy to go to work, and that helped me to make the customers smile everyday, whats challenging is that could be difficult to work with, even when you try so hard they don't respond, but we keep on trying....we asked sometimes to go an etra mile by assisting other departments when its not that busy in our department, and we cooperate with that
Pros: we do have opportunities to grow but it takes some time for us to be allowed to grow to other positions

Excellent learning curve
dealing with difficult customer on a daily basis. handling everyone equal and manage to work as a team. Learn more about yourself and how to handle conflict at work and how to handle each customer daily,how to present yourself in front of a customer because you are the last person the customer see and approach will determine whether the customer will come back or not. most of all i enjoyed meeting different people with different ideas.The difficult thing about my ob was dealing with a difficult customer and at the same time you need to stay positive for the next customer.

Train to became manager
I direct inbound and outbound calls capture daily floats for Cashiers print daily Reports and anylise them control all cash flowing in store capture it in Recon Assist, I am frindly people person have good relationship with co-workers I have learned to professionalism,intergrity.in a workplacr because I deal with confidential information of co-worker.i enjoy helping people a lot internally and externally working long hours,during holidays and dealing with difficult customers.

Good
My day starts at 9 am and I nock of at 6pm. I need to check emails, any new information that is sent from head office, check if all my access are still working and check if we are not offline. I need to be at least 15 mins before my shift because I won't be able to do all this if there are clients. I deal with difficult customers and very understanding ones. I need to take a tea break and lunch break sometimes that is impossible depending how many people are scheduled for the day. We are only four in my department so me and my team are very happy to work together I can cover their work and they can dk the same to me if maybe I cannot finish or if its them that can't. Managent is fine what I love the most is we have more than ten of them I can speak to any one I like about my job.

Opportunities for promotion
When the customer leaves the shop very happy with smiles in the face.I enjoy meeting new people very day and making them laugh.The relationship with the colleagues is good because we all want the company to succeed at the end of the day.

Excellent learning curve
I'm eager to learn and to grab hold of new challenge im a very good listener and teachable and very flexible and energetic. Integrity is one of my strong values I do what I say I do customer services also one of my strongest points I love interacting engaging with customers and building a good customer base relationship
