Stepping stone
Working for woolworths has been a stepping stone for me,i've made great friends there,it has taught me to work well under pressure and working with a team.sometimes we would work short staffed but we made it work at all times,I have learnt how to be a leader throughout the years.
Pros: i have learnt a lot

Im willing to learn what ever new.
I have call centre certificate and i have ten modules in information technology from unisa.im working at woolworths as a cashier, data capturer and receptionist.i have one year experience.im willing to learn anything new.llike to work with other people i dont like to work under supervision cause im a hard worker as long as you shown me a job i know what must i do.
Pros: i like to know my job very well. i like to know the job of the other department.i like to learn something new every time
Cons: i like every one to do his or her.dont like someone who like some body to do his or her job.

Good place to work to
this company groomed me very well,I was given a chance to share my ideas in the meetings,I have learned how to work in a team and learn how other people think,I have learned how stay follow the rules of the company,as this is the very organise company,I have learned how to handle and treat different customers ,I have learned that If I wanna learn new things,I have focus and listen to what I'm being thought,and what I like mostly about the company is that a person is given many opportunities to develop him/her self with in the company. I have really enjoyed to be part of that store,if I can be given a chance again,I would really go back,but that a person can't be stake in one place,I want to learn other different things,and learn how other companies and industrie

Bad company
I was unfairly dismissed they said they can't have people with chronic illnesses working for them

Manager
I m a hardworking lady am willing to go extra mile and willing learn. As a stock controller,I ensure a day's is completed as per schedule. I make sure I minimize shrinkage to receive and capture stock on the computer so that we can have record and traceability of the stock thus helping the company with reviews so we can improve and exceed Company's objectives. I'm performance oriented and I thrive under pressure.

Great customer service experience
It is great place to work with. So many things that I learn especially when it comes to customer service. There no growth opportunities. They offer better company benefits such as medical aid. The company has clear policy that guides employees. The co workers are easy to work with. The customers are very difficult but they teach us how to deal with different queries.

Re-structuring and attention to detail,sometimes one must helicopter manage situations
I have been in the business for more than 10 years and successfully managing my stock without any loss,increasing turn over with a positive staff turnover and also acquiring new customers for the business, my ability to encourage positivity with my staff is excellent because happy staff is productive.
Pros: Yes growing as an individual should be encouraged
Cons: When team work is disturbed the job becomes difficult I think going back to the drawing board I crucial and necessary

Its good exprience to work in a team
We start our shift at 14h00 with 30 minutes meeting, where we reviews previous day perfomance and plan for next shift and by doing this its become easy for us to achieve our daily targets and meet our customer needs, our customers includes picking department and suppliers, they both depends on us in order to achieve their target, so if stock is receivied accuratley and on time picking will meet their finishing time target and also suppliers will be turned around on time, in our team we have 2 managers, 8 receiving administrators and 12 receving clerk with a target of receiving 1000 crates per hour, we use scanner to receive stock and printing

Excellent learning curve
It's just a normal working day at the distribution centre where we come and do our work and leave.I have a great working relationship with my co-workers because they make coming to work more enjoyable and fun.It's an environment with a very diverse culture and it taught me to acclimatize myself with it and respect all the different cultures you find in an organisation.The part I enjoy the most is the facilitation process,my learners make it a very enjoyable environment and we respect each other regardless of the age difference.Challenges I face at the job is the resources allocated to me to use in the learning centre because they not sufficient enough to reach maximum progress
