Great employee, excellent benifits however salary comparison to fellow retailers are low. Excellent team spirit. Oppertunities to learn within company however growth in company is very slow

Retail Enviroment
In the retail Environment, the competition is so immense that if the business unit is not building its own customer base,you loose the business to the competitors. with the current economic landscape, retailers need to keep up with the pace of the fast growing technology in order to be able to meet the 21st century customer who's expectations are Convenience,Simplicity,and quality which is not easy to keep up the pace. As Manager Everyday is planned, reminders sets, Early Morning game plan with the team, updating the team with the previous figures and a target for the day, Monthly as well as the progressive. Also address any customer profiles and queries. i enjoy coaching,motivating, analyzing business and most importantly interacting with customers for feedback. Challenges is when sales are not forthcoming and the action plan is not working and have to keep thinking to get the business on track.
Pros: Promotion is the source of attraction to the customer and a Marketing strategy of our business.

Great customer service experience
It is great place to work with. So many things that I learn especially when it comes to customer service. There no growth opportunities. They offer better company benefits such as medical aid. The company has clear policy that guides employees. The co workers are easy to work with. The customers are very difficult but they teach us how to deal with different queries.

I wish to be manager in Finance and HR some day in a big company
I am a hard worker and a good team player. i have vast experiance with customer service. i am dedicate someone. I can also word under pressure and produce good results. I make sure that i do my work to my level best. Like my former boss use to say " if you do something do it 100% or dont do it at all". that kept me focus and i make sure that everything i do is 100% accurate. I know its not easy dealing with custers but i have learnt to control my self. i am vey good with handling finances and also a quick leaner, ready for new challenges. I am a passionate person, i give my all in everything i do.

Impowering
Best learning ground. Excess to learn what ever I want. Stay focused and work in a efficient and effective manner, regularly review progress against plans and seek advice where needed. Prioritise work demands and effectively organise resources. Use resources efficiently and avoid waste, complete tasks to the required quality standards. Monitor my and others performance against planned objectives and deadlines. Do not accept second best. Conduct post implementation reviews, where appropriate.

Energetic and great learning experience
People in this business are very passionate about what they do, no one day is the same at woollies and literally its an experience of a lifetime. The pace is very fast you have to be able to think on your feet at all times - the challenge is explosive. I work with very friendly people which makes everyday at the office very pleasant, the working hours are extremely long The most challenging aspect is being a young black female in such a high level position for such a great company, its part of the thrill of the job more often than not.

Bettet enviromment for learning
It's a great learning environment with a lot of skill to gain,its an educational company as it teaches you about work ethics and good communication to people, were work extremely hard during the day 10 hours a dedicated day,with a buddy buddy system,ive learned to work with people work hard and understand the nature of the work that I'm doing,i enjoyed working with people assisting and learning new aspects,and the most challenging aspect of my job is working in an uncalm and unflexible environment.

I enjoy with people especially my co-workers they make me laugh all the time.i learn to respect,love,work as team.it is challenging to work with customer but at the end we have to make them happy when the are happy we adlo going to be happy

Excellent good services employee
They give us an opportunities that allows us to apply new job from internal company and offer the employees with busuries to further our studies. I received an award from values of Woolworths and our costumes they also recognize me as best employee service . I have good relationship with my co-workers. I'm confident that definitely my couellege are proud cause it easy to approach me and conflict is fact of life but , I can able to manage to overcome those obstacles by writing down the things that I have to done during the day and am always choose to be happy. I learn to respect each other , learn the important of time management and I also learn how to keep our costumers happy by keep the reputation of our company in constant way. I enjoy the most when the company give me award. The aspect of our job are very serious the need you to be extra careful goes with an honest and any mistakes you can make you can be fired without an warning but depend of your negligence.

I learn how to work with different people
Woolwoths its a great company with different people its was nice working for them couse I learn a lot of things while I was working there and the customers were very nice I enjoyed myself and I had fun with my co-workers couse we had a good relationship. I learn many things how to talk to the customers and how keep our shop clean and making sure that our customers are happy all the times. The most challenging thing about my job was when I knock off later at 20:00 they didn't proved me with transport so I have to take the taxe to go home and I will arrive at home around 23:00 and that was the most challenging thing about the job Thank you
Pros: when we promote a produte we get to teast it
Cons: when I do morning shift 06:00 to 15:00 but I will knock off 17:00 because of paper work
