Working here was an amazing experience because you got to meet so much people of different races and personalities,my colleagus were super sweet always nice,always teaching me extra things,managers were the the best always nice and understanding, honestly I always looked forward to work.

Good hours that we worked Transport was provided when knocking off late Bought things in discounts Had alot if thing tho learn from the culture was good and most individuals that were employed with us are good people who love sharing mutual ideas

Great experience about retail

I love working with different people because you deal with various personalities from different people coming from different backgrounds. Retail is most challenging because customers treat you like nothing but you have to keep your cool and remember that a customer is always right.

Good Culture

I brief my team on what needs to be done for the day and what will be launching this week so we will start preparing for the campaigns or special events I check what ever decor comes in and compare it to the brief we mm get from head office my relationship with my co workers are great as I would relieve them when ever they are busy or when they go for breaks or if there are a shortage of staff they would chat to me bout maybe my staffing assistance I have leant a lot as I have the ability to work not only in my department but in others areas as well e.g. Customer service clothing and home and foods department as well I enjoy assisting all around what's most challenging is when there is not enough cover in store one has to spread the little staff you have but because lots of staff is signed off in more than one area and that is an advantage but challenging coz if they not available then it means you need to level down but I don't mind

Interacting with customers.

Interacting with customers and laughing about what they did that day. Knowing I have a great team working with me motivated me a lot. Getting support from my manager whenever I needed her.

Customer servise,communication skills,minimise shrinkage

Nice to work there easy to grow as long as u have passion for jo job.I learn a lot about good customer service,how to minimise shrinkage and how to handle stress and cusomers as well as staff

Pros: Promotions are great as long as you work hard and provide good service to customers
Cons: No long hours cos its 8hrs per day 40hrs per week

I was good in customers service good in competition with company I respect my job

The company was allway clean on time we have make sure dat the customer where satisfied all the timewe make sure that during every season we make sure of proposition and sale at tha time

Excellent learning curve

I had a very enjoyable experience working for Woolworths, meeting new people everyday coming with different queries needed to be solved.i was learning something new everyday and meeting new people. Teaching my juniors how to handle customer queries and how to solve them .teaching them not to leave customer unhappy as you must alwys solve customers queries as they depend on us when it comes to their queries about their accounts.being a problem solver was my middle name and I was enjoying it as it was also helping me individually even when I am not at work.if I had another chance I would go back and work for them but the problem made me to leave was Personally...forced me to leave town and relocate to Rustenburg. Tried getting a tranfer to other Woolworths stores this side but no luck as there were no vacancies at that time I needed to leave.i resigned and served my notice.................. ........ . .. .... .. ... ...... .... ....... ....... .. . ...... ..... ... . ..... ...

Best Work experience

Live environment, diversity within staff and cuatomers, lovely customers,my company is not stingy in terms of growth and development, fun people we report to with kindness and empathy we all learnt our company culture and live it its a big brand and we wear our uniform with pride knowing every day we make a difference and deliver world class service where ever when ever.
