Working at Capita has been an exciting and challenging experience. A typical workday involves receiving inbound calls from UK based customers related to account issues. We have a very transparent dynamic in our team which makes for comfortable interactions with colleagues. I've learned how to be more empathetic and understanding when it comes to specific queries and listening skills. I mostly enjoy the environment of youngsters and the ability to grow if you apply yourself. The most challenging aspect would be customer complaints and having to de-escalation customers that received a bad customer experience.

It's a okay company to work for but there is no growth in the company, the work and life balance is limited. What I would say that the people that work with you are the best to work at the fellow advisors and the culture aswell. Love the people that I work with.

Fine
Capita in itself is a fine company but certain people, team leaders and their managers think they can do as they please. Not all but definitely the unit I was in. I've been around in different units and nowhere else does the team leaders And operations manager do what the leaders in the unit i was in, do

Thecommpany had a great working environment and the manager understand their team mates customer they were great but some day were better that the the othet s we learned how to deal with any kind of cust especially UK people they have there own way of doing this and what a special treatment they ewanthed to feel special and tand !y learning curse was to deal with complaint and train new candidates

I like my job, I don't wake up in the morning and feel why do I need to do this, I deal with UK customers telephonically everyday with regards to online shopping, and love being able to assist being so far away however the relationship managers have with their colleagues is not what it is suppose to be. I won't very hard to meet exceed my targets but to not be acknowledged for it sucks. I've learnt alot of patience at this job. A typical day would be taking about 50-60 calls with varies queries. I'd say the most challenging would be when there is not much you can do for a customer after trying all avenues possible. I think because the company is so big you are nothing but a number no matter how hard you work, if you not favored you not acknowledgewo
Pros: You can make performance bonus in the middle of the month if you work hard enough
Cons: The hours are bad especially if you have a family.

Learning opportunity
I am still new, the job is challenging which is great for learning new skills. Transparency is an issue though especially concerning pay and incentives.

Excellent customer services
Capita was a good place to gain experience and its a family first busimess where they place their people first. However, i had to leave as my mom was ill and needed to care for.

Excellent learning curve
There are very nice people with in the company but not always as great with regards to the saturdays you work and also the salary isn't that great but if you work over time you can make tons of money

Ecellent learning environment
Its all aboutbwork, hkwever during breaks tyere are some time to play because there are a lot of board games availa People are very friendly and always willing to help you no matter how difficult things may be. I think this is the perfect working environment if the candidare just finished high school. on sight
