No culture , leadership fucuses on petty things

Challenging having to deal with different people and their moods non performers are the ones who complain the most mangement unreasonable on setting targets monitors things that are not important

Pros: Close to home , good montly incentive
Cons: long shift , unworkable accounts , rude agents

Good learning environment

Working at Capitec is so good,you get to learn new things around the bank,dealing with different clients personally and getting knowledge and skills that you can apply everywhere you go into different companies.

Excellent learning curve

We work hard because a number of new clients increases daily, but with the training we received when joining the company, we manage to cope really well.

Pros: Promotions are a bit rare but it all depends on the hard work one gives.

Excellent learning curve

It was a wonderful working environment, and I got along very well with my colleagues. I was working as a consultant and I got to issue loans to clients and assist with opening savings accounts and do telemarketing aswel.

Great environment work culture, people management experience

My time working at capitec has been a builder of character. Beginning the day with an angry client. Having to answer questions of occurences I am not involved in, having bank cards thrown in my face, sworn at being told I'm stupid. having to monitor consultants ensuring they are at their work station, ensuring tickets are called promptly and dont wait over the standard set waiting time. ensure the atm is clean, ensure everyone signs the attendence register and the in and out log book. selling the companies products to clients. Having lively co workers who are always willing to assist to a line manager who has unexpected moods swings and has no way of speaking to her subordinates. I enjoy interacting with the clients and creating relationships with them through me for the bank. Challenges occur when a situation is out of my control and has been there long enough but solving it is a mission

Pros: great company to work for, equips with qualification as well.

Very fast learner

Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others. • Ability to utilize the applications for Microsoft Office for support, reporting and documentation. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Ability to provide technical support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired. • Good problem solving skills; ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.

Challenging and fun

Open at 7:30, prepare for the meeting held for 15 mins, this is to review the previous day and discuss the learnings for the day as well as the plan for the Day. Then complete the admin for the branch, complete reports required, which could include calling clients, attending clients complaints and planning day offs for the team. Learnings - time management, prioritizing, delegating and discipline towards my work. Most enjoyed working with people and learning how to manage my own work. Challenging part was managing people, different personalities but had to ensure we all move to the same direction

Good learning curve daily

I am computer literate, friendly, a team player and work well under pressure. My duties were making sure that all the branch admin is up to date and filed accordingly,the branch is running smoothly and all clients are served within the specific time, train new recruits which i enjoyed the most,working with different characters and having to make sure that they all aim to reach the same goal was interesting and challenging. I take ownership and see all challenges to completion.
