Taught me to be patient
It's a great experience working for a growing company. It teaches one how to work within a team, how to treat clients. How to apply HEAT (Hear Empathize Acknowledged and Take action). The challenging part is having to explain in a patient way that what the client requires it cannot be done in that way they needed to be in. Overall it's a good company to work for.

Excellent sales consultant experience
Normally as second Incharge I start my day with a start up meeting. Do an energizer with my team to get them energized and ready to work. I'd do telemarketing, Sell fixed term credit,open savings accounts, switch external banking clients to full time salary Capitec Bank clients and sell credit cards to clients. I'd do onboarding for new employees. I enjoy interacting with clients but mostly motivating my team members to perform.
Pros: Great sales experience. You become an all round consultant who can sell any product and perform numerous duties

I learned alot in this company
I have learned on how to improve all skills i have and got the opportunity to be in control of my owen actions.. They let you lead and learn on how to work as a team no matter what.. a normal work day is not as busy as usual so i dont see why we work as many hours a day..I feel like there is much more to learn but this job has a way of letting people ge pt comfortable in their positions and thats not what i want currently i have much i need to learn and i have a aim in every company i wana see growth in my working environment not just the money but responsibilities.. i love the company its good and innovative and have a great relationship with their employees but they dont take much from floor level and they just get ideas from top level.. overall i have have a great experience with them but now is time to chellenge myself and take on something that will keep me busy more then i am now..
Pros: you get to learn alot about the financial industry and they have a great way of educating their employees on a consistent manner
Cons: there long working hours and the fact that they dont take much from the floor level because it can make them a more in formed and more about the clients experience

Work/Life balance Capitec bank is a growing company which then puts alot of continuos strain on the employees which then result in employees not having life outside the work place like family time as u only get one off in a week

Great enthusiastic team
I had worked in a banking sector for period of 12 years and had a great team. I used to enjoy the brain storming sessions, teambuilding and the annual conferences we used to engage in. My boss was a very liberal and charismatic leader who put lot of effort to ensure that we are well equipped with knowledge and experience in order to add value to our company. I worked with lot of professional people who always motivated us to study and to always be pro-active and get involved in each and every task irrespective that it's on a management level of intermediary. I had lots of great fun working with my team.

Good chance to learn and improve myself.
My days include a lot of problem solving and giving clarity to clients, we always ask for assistance and encourage each other with such issues. Working as a team to meet targets and provide the best possible service, the most challenging and yet enjoyable part is meeting targets and pushing sales.
Pros: I get to interact with a lot of different people and enjoy seeing them satisfied.
Cons: sometimes I can do anything for a client and have to disappoint them.

Great stepping stone to better myself and to get an idea of what my passion is
All administration duties regarding Capitec Bank's policies and procedures. FICA and NCR rules and regulations. Support with operational effectiveness/efficiency. Ensure client service standards are met and upheld. Deal effectively with client calls in the absence of the BM or when the BM is occupied in the front of the branch. Manage resources in the absence of the BM (includes staff management). Mentoring/Buddying of new employees (particularly during site assignment and apprentice phase) Actively support the BM with continuous improvement initiatives/actions, and provide input into coaching opportunities. Equipment maintenance and reporting of equipment problems. Serving clients 50% of the time. Contributing to the branch sales targets. Monitor and drive TTS (Time To Serve) and TOS (Time Of Service) to deliver a unique service experience. Sales calls and telemarketing calls to inform clients of new products and new available offers to them. Cashier duties and cash handling.

Stepping stone
I am looking to build a successful career within a dynamic organization that can make use of my skills, and develop my full potential. Currently am employed as a Service Consultant at one of the world’s best retail bank, Capitec Bank LTD. I consider myself to have gained a wide variety of experience in the banking and financial sector. I’m a committed individual with a sound work ethic; possessing the skill to work in a team and also on my own, setting the agenda for the work ahead. Taking ownership, and been disciplined to achieve targets and working to meet deadlines. As a fresh graduate, I enjoy tackling challenging tasks and seeing them through.

Continuos improvememt
My strength is in developing my Sales pipeline strategies so as to meet and exceed my Targets, I was in charge of 25 branches in a huge area with 21 individuals reporting to me, so planning was important as the area was too big. I am currently working for Le Morgan as a Sales Branch Manager looking after 48 Sales Reps
Pros: exellent earning potential
