Dear Sir /Madam Firstly, I am grateful to be given the opportunity to apply for this position in your company. I believe the last ten years led me to a place where I have the opportunity to apply for such positions and be considered. My four years work experience in the financial institution (Capitec bank) equipped me with strong client service skills and ability to achieve greater heights hence I ‘am applying for this position. I am driven by my thirst for knowledge, more experience and I have faith that this will be given to me by your company. I believe that I’m the ideal candidate for the post because I am always open to challenge, smart and I acclimatize quickly to an environment. I am able to learn quickly and carry out individual assignments promptly with minimal supervision.

Challenging environment
company policies are in place to oppress operations employees instead of creating a conducive atmosphere.there's no fair Employment equity ,where people would hold certain position based on education
Pros: Exposure to different client base,helps one polish or be effective on their communication skills

Exposure to customer service and working under pressure and target-driven industry
What I have learned is a lot as every month we are given targets to achieve which means that you need to have selling skills in order to achieve targets given. Working under pressure been working in a busy branch for 2 years which means we are timed when assisting clients with their queries. It taught me to be efficient and effective at all time. There is growth in the company and we also have learning resources if one wants to enhance their skills and knowledge. I work well with my team as there is no grudges if one is mistreated unfairly solve the problem now before it gets worse.
Pros: Opportunity growth which one can be promoted to the next level
Cons: Long working hours and now I am in a quiet branch which is not challenging.

Great opportnity to work for a major corporation
Capitec Bank is a Great company to work at should you have the correct attitude. there are so many opportunities available all you need to do is work hard to achieve them.if i had the opportunity i would definitely work at the company again

It's a good and respectable company to work for
It's a good and respectable company to work for The hours are not bad. No weekends off. The clients are smart. The colleagues are the best. The boss is a perfect role model. You learn something new everyday. I enjoy using their equipment. Cutting edge technology. I take about 50 calls from consultants and assist them with technical and financial queries and escalating incidents to the correct departments then sending feedback to them if it has been provided.
Pros: Growth.

Learning curve
Working for Capitec was time consuming and at times a thankless job,you were made to feel like you had to thank the employer everyday for giving you employment. Corporate culture was horrible as the management made you feel like you were working at their farm. For you to get promoted you have to kiss a lot of #$$.i spent almost all my life working at Capitec (8 years) but in terms of learning I learnt that if you don't follow your dreams someone will hire you and make your life miserable to follow theirs(Thats Capitec bank)
Pros: Good ideas in terms of how a bank can offer it clientelle
Cons: Longest working hours with no suffient remuneration.

Not worth it
Long working hours No growth, everyone is an agent (they call it a call centre so that they dont have to pay you much) Very little perks (infact, only R375 for medical aid if you have any) Bursaries for those who qualify.

Great learning experience
Longer working hours. You pretty much do everything that the bank offers no specific focus area. This makes one easily adapt to different roles in the bank
