Excellent Opportunities
Working at Capitec provided me with a platform to learn in a fast paced financial environment and also to grow as an employee, I learnt valuable skills while working at that company, like selling skills, communicating with clients, team work, managing client expectations and handling quiries, training new employees and coaching existing employees which have an been valuable in my development.

Learning curve
I love what I am doing but the hours are a bit lengthy. It is fast paced and that is what I enjoy. Also I have an established client base and they make everything worth it. My team feels like family, and serving my clients and making them live better by banking better makes my day. Be the change you want to see.

Cons: Too long working ours. Including full weekends

Opportunity to gain work experience
I have no time for my child or husband I work every weekend and get one day off in the week , I don't get to see the inside of a church and I feel employees are not treated fairly or looked after when it comes to clients disrespecting us however Capitec provides a door to learn and gain experience
Pros: Capitec is the door to gain experience , they give you a qualification in banking after doing a learnership
Cons: No opportunity for promotions ,Long working hours ,no weekends off , inequality , inappropriate management styles

Capitec helped me when Ihad no job and no work experience
It is busy and the working hours are longer than other banks. Client always comes first and service is also a priority. We work as a team only when it suits us and I have learnt that it is not that bad of an organization but the problem is with the management. I enjoy interacting with clients and solving their financial problems and at times lift up their spirits when they are feeling down. The main challenge is the pressure that we get from management and the disrespect at times.

Having add value on someone's life, that's an achievement on it's own.
Long hours and working over the weekend is what I don't like about my job. On a busy day, you take no lunch, sometimes you take only 30 minutes. I learned a lot since I got to work for this company. We are like a family with my colleagues.
Pros: Opportunities are there but are not based on the merit, based on being friends with your line manager
Cons: Working from 8 to 5 isn't bad but having to work over the weekend is another thing

Good learning curves
-Working with a variety of clients helps a lot in learning more about their different behavior - Exploring and development growth from my team, sharing ideas, experience and alternative methods when faced with challenging clients - Team efforts, everyone is corporative and always willing to go extra mile to assist clients regardless of what the challenge may be - What is most challenging is when we out most want to help a client and they get disapproved, after trying all necessary measures - What i enjoy most us when all my team nembers reach and exceeds our targets and we grow our sales, attract more clients our share price increases
