Not a company for everbody to work in
My typical work day is doing store visit to update staff about layouts,promotions,new structure and display layouts.I have a good understanding with my colleagues and we work well together.I have learned that not everything is black and white and that understanding people is very important to have a good work flow,and a good understanding of the systems you need to work with.I enjoy working with the people in the stores,training and upskilling them.The most challenging is getting to all the stores in a short space of time.Making sure everybody understand their role they plan in the company and to get everybody to work towards one goal
Pros: You have freedom to work as you see fit and to implement your new ideas
Cons: The owner is not always understanding and like to het rid of people he does not like

Excellent customer service
Im current working as a store manager, my focus is to drive sales, excellent customer service and people empowerment. I believe in a winning team , make sure that all staff are trained and coached

Excellent learning curve
Great opportunities,reliable sources and resources,great incentives and there’s no limits of prospects but downside is having to manage the whole store without the store manager for years but that was an excellent learning curve for me

Customer service
I spend my time assisting customers, merchandising along with co-workers. I learnt good customer satisfaction and handling customer complaints. I enjoy cooperating with co-workers and closing sales. Most challenging aspects are interacting with difficult customers and exceeding the amount of money targeted daily.

Strong leadership
I worked for edcon company that is Jet stores as a branch manager for more than 10 years managing different branches and 2 years experience as project manager. My job responsibilities as a branch manager is as follows: People management, Training and development, driving turn over and ensure profitable business and managing daily tasks and ensure excellent customer service. My work experience
A typical work day, start off with a to do list once that is complete. I send the buyers the daily sales doc. Emails are always checked to make sure that all amendments are completed before the end of the day in regards to cost changes as well as delivery dates. According to my to do list I complete every task that's on there for the day. I have a good relationship with my co-workers we are all like a family here. I have learnt so much in the 7 years I have been at Edcon from all the admin work I have to do, to building ranges and communicating with suppliers , briefing them and negotiating costs. The best part of my job is working with product and getting to learn more about the fabrications that are used across different styling. Building ranges for the different seasons. Most challenging aspect is making sure that the correct product is put into stores and it is actually what the customer wants and will buy.

Great interpersonal skills
I am a social person and its great to meet new people and interact with them on a daily basis. My former colleagues were great to work with as we were all women and to deal with different characters. I definitely learnt alot from them too as you work in teams. I enjoyed waking up in the morning to know I will be helping someone in need. Most challenging aspect about the job was dealing with un-satisfied clients and making them happy to leave the shop satisfied with my assistance.

I've learned how to put customers first in every respect and meet their requirements.
I'm Llai Mabula. I'm enthusiastic and quicker learner. I work hard and take my work seriously. I can work under pressure and I'm very dedicated. I have completed a certificate in HIV/AIDS with Unisa, and have computer skills. I am a final student studying Bachelor of Arts in Health Science and Social Services (Psychology). I have 4+ customers service experience, I've been an employee of Edcon CNA as a sales associate and acting supervisor since 2015-2018-July and now I'm working at Jet since 2018-July till to date as a sales associate. I have good customers service experience and I like working with different people and different cultures. I'm willing to learn new things in this department and willing to grow as well as an individual and as a team member to.

Good training skills provided
The company is not making money at all,I'm scared that one day I will find myself unemployed or rettrenched.At moment I'm working two jobs a day which is receiving and dispatch,and doing store admin dealing with queries that you find that my company did not pay suppliers
Pros: They are good at training skills but failing to promote or giving me management position
Cons: Very long hours we are working,public holidays payment is like playing with ours not paying double even sunday
