I currently work as HR Administrator intern the following are my duties: Human Resource Administration, Capturing Maternity leave, assisting with Payroll, Employee Terminations, Recruitment, Generating UIF documents, Resolving employee Related queries, uploading Documents on E- Terms, Filling, Making copies, Resolving Department of labor queries, Generating Confirmation letters, Casual Transfers, Generating certificate of Service, Responding to emails and Issuing out Provident fund forms and distributing tasks From the main inbox

Pros: I learnt a lot in such a big industry

A well representable individualist

A salesman with a proven track record at Edcon Ltd pty co. I’ve work from the past two and half year than went out for furthering my studies. That was a good sense of getting a well exposure into the work environment. Also getting experience and growth within the company. Incentives was quiet balanced and work load was well structured.

Pros: Typical good job for industrial exposure
Cons: Highly supervised and working holidays and get off on weekdays

Great

Amazing and friendly working environment. I learned alot for the department I was placed in. I would love for an opportunity to work there again. I feel like for an entry level position, it's was amazing what the company had to offer me. The opportunities outside the office were spectacular.

Excellent learning curve

Retrenchment and restructuring makes it hard to grow in company. No training given. Teaching yourself how to do certain things. Working with a good team that is eager to help and learn, relying on the staff. Most difficult is having to struggle and do certain challenges without help.

Strong leadership

I worked for edcon company that is Jet stores as a branch manager for more than 10 years managing different branches and 2 years experience as project manager. Good learning curve

Its great opportunity to learn more and advance better knowledge. Currently I am the champion of the NPS for the month, because of my contribution towards the growth and success of the business through a massive increase in sale in my department and complements by our customers ,from my department.

Loss prevention and risk management. Communicating stock request,new store setup, Training and developing staff, complete daily Store operational.maitain store staff job result by coaching. Counseling and discipline employees, planning, monitoring and aporaising job result, achieve financial objectives by preparing and annual budgets :scheduling expenditure, analyzing varience and initiating corrective actions. Identify current and future customers requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service reguirements, secure merchandise by implementing security system and measures, protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment, drive sales and motivate staff to reach and exceed targets and report week and monthly feedback to Area manager and head office
