Good exposure and experience
Challenging environment to be in, but can be also quite rewarding. Always a pleasure meeting customers on a daily basis. Administration of the business is quite indeapth with the intricies of processes. Staff are amazing, good attitude and moral.
Pros: Experience and knowledge
Cons: Long hours, family time is minimal.

The description of my job at Edcon Edgars Marketing is as follows: Assist in developing marketing plans and campaigns, Execution of all tasks allocated by Marketing Manager, Monitor and report of media exposure received through various initiatives, Research competitors their trends and products as and when required, Sourcing, briefing of, as well as negotiating with various marketing merchant, Complete brief to agency, Create event & promo number, Request merchants to fill in block plans for their relevant areas on the S-drive, Complete store communication document, Tracking cost and spend drive, Traffic marketing team, Agency briefing and De-briefing process, Point of sale distribution, Campaign Execution and dealing with Invoices.

Learn more day by day.
Learning more things day by day..good communication with me and my colleges. I enjoy my department most because to being cellphone admin help me to learn to be fast nd understand problems of the customers nd how to resolved the issues of them day by day..enjoy and understand to do bookings telephonically and on the computer as well..to handle different customers .like to be on the retail help me to know how to discuss with people ..to be fast and energetic .the thing that I enjoy most to communicate with the customers especially when they need the cellphone that we don't have in the store I enjoy to convinced them to choose onother one with the similar fixtures.

Excellent learning curve
Challenging and sometimes difficult, but it is good either way because I got a chance to learn new things. I got a chance to learn new things with understand on how to deal with hard customers in a good way and without hurting them but comforting them instead.

The best place to work is a place where you can be your best
Edcon is a very nice place to work,and i The best place to work is a place where you can be your best.so if i were to change or leave Edcon ,One of my big challenges will be adjusting to the new workflow for creating reports to present to clients. Every company has a slightly different process, but of course, you want to avoid revealing to clients that anything feels unfamiliar. I'll aim to ask a lot of questions during my first report, and see if a colleague is available to review it before I share it with the client. That way, by the time my report is in front of the client's eyes, I'll feel fully confident in the process and work. and i have learnt a lot from EDCON,but what i enjoye doig the most is customer service because i meet a lot of people,different and you learn new things everyday
