Good experience and a learning place

Working for the company has been great learnt to be patient and submisiv to customers all the time. Team work always been perfect key to goal achievement. Challenges came in different aspects as to dealing with difficult customers, reaching daily weekly and monthly targets. I only enjoyed my working hours they were very reasonable

Well growth and teaches to multitask and independent.

Just need to be recognized and appropriate. Know when opportunities come and equal treatment. Training and promotion must be offered due to hard work and dedication.

Excellent

Good working environment, respect, good in sales, staff and management had good working relationsjip, sometimes working under pressure was nice in order to drive sales fingures to look good, aiming for one goal and that goal was to always be number one, scary news from the news papers about liquidation never let any one down or scare anyone all that was done was striving for success we were all power hungry to work in a successful growing environment

Work Ethic

Main focus is to achieve business goals. The day to day duties have to be done before end of business day. All staff are expected to complete their key tasks Sudden changes on the business have to be implemented and completed within a specified period of time. All business ideas are discussed with the Operations Manager before they can be implemented within the entity.

Share knowledge

Customer is my day. I am the driving force behind ensuring that I can make a change in teh customers life, by implementing quick win that is beneficial to the customer but constantly ensuring that cost saving is part of the drive. Ensuring that quality is adhered to by the outsourced call centre and best practices are shared. Key initiatives, would be the introduction of a case management tool to ensure that the customer is never left behind and always the focus point of decisions. Being part of a energetic team and helping each other is key and knowing that no man is left behind. Challenges currently is red tape within the company that could extend a quick fix but would take 6 months due to governance measures.

Pros: Being exposed to retail is very exciting and drives you to always try harder and work better. Empowring and allowing staf f to make decisions with the least financial impact on teh company.
Cons: Stuck is old ways of thinking and still practicing old methods that are not beneficial to the company and more importantly the customer.

I am hard worker, good with people , i am able to work well under pressure

i am hard worker, good with people , i am able to work well under pressure . I have learned to work with different personalities in the work place and how to manage them . I enjoy most when as reach out KPI or target as a team .

Pros: you must have peoples skills , must be able to work long hours
Cons: long hours , pressure on sales

Excellent learning curve

Not much growth in a bigger store, not much appreciation for time and effort, no contribution for medical aid nor provident fund. A smaller store has more potential, team work and eager staff.

Good learning experience

We are a well balanced team between merchants buyers and planners. We learn a lot from each others and collectively build action plans to create sales. I learnt forecasting, budgeting and analysing sales trends. I enjoy mostly giving full support to store staff and assisting them in achieving their daily or monthly targets.

Pros: Place with good values
Cons: Leadership not great
