Long working hours , work with great people. We work well in teams. I have learnt work well independently without supervision and also a great team player. I enjoy serving customers the most because it allows me to explore new relationships in a daily basis.

Career developmant and willing to learn

To work as part of a team, in a dynamic, multicultural organization, where I will be in the position to learn and carry out multifunctional activities.

Experience learned

Edcon is a great place of work and it had become a 2nd home as we spend 80% of our time at work. The colleagues were friendly and yet goal oriented and focused to achieve set targets.

Excellent learning experience

I have learned a lot at Edcon, I worked 8 to 5 PM. I normally dealt with fraud detection on the customer's account. Providing customers with feedback. I really loved working with my co-workers and the team work. What I have learned was you got different cases everyday of fraud detection. I enjoyed discovering new fraud trends and a happy customers.

Good in persuasive

I enjoyed working at edcon and I worked well with the team. I enjoy working on a daily basis and learning more about the role of the company. I am a very professional and I take my job very serious. I am very interested in the position and am very grateful for the opportunity to that I will be able to help and support other employees. I am a self-taught individual with over 10years of giving exceptional customer service

I’ve performed duties such as organising food numerous occasions for staff members, managing of petty cash, being a head cashier and recently being selected to be a Financial Services Administrator. Teaching others how and what to look for in terms of seeing a fraudulent ID, Passports, Receipts, Proof of Income and Bank statements in numerous times.

Pros: Given an opportunity to oversee new canvassers and being the stores financial services administrator
Cons: Stoct taking and mornitering canvassers to pitch new business to clients

Excellent learning curve

It's great because you get to travel a lot, go to New places but the schedule is sometimes too hectic because you can work for days with no off days and still get paid your basic R1700'

Excellent learning curve

We worked hard to get paid less. Growth was minimum. Alot of favouritism to whom should get anything. Edcon has great training facility which you can learn from and upgrade yourself even if it's not within the company but just getting the skills
