Experience
Installation, commissioning and maintenance of various equipments used to monitoring and controlling processes in the plant, including the knowledge of various PLC’s (Allen Bradley Control Logix, ABB P13, Siemens S5 and S7), DCS and communication systems. And permit to work system compliance.

Excellent learning curve
My work day is hectic as I have to oversee construction activities driving timelines ensuring safe execution of activities and all within cost and quality, There are a lot of service provides so a lot of integration. I work with different people from different countries so communication is key. I have been in project management so I have come to understand the importance of people relationships to get things done. I also work in a multi disciplinary environment continuously learning about the different disciplines. Challenging the most is the integration of the many service providers working on site, ensuring everyone achieves the target dates. Also challenging is the management of claims from the service providers.
Pros: Great opportunity to strengthen my project/construction management skills.

I am responsible for the Technical day to day running of an Equipment, Commissioning and prepare the plant for Stand-by after shut-down and Outages, I am Authorized as AP and AO under Eskom Legislative Regulation (PSR and ORHVS). I have serve industry as an Artisan and in Junior Management position which built me to the level I require as a Technician. This position will take me to final understanding of why Quality Supervision is necessary for productive plant.

The best learning environnment because eerything is found in this project.
- Biggest project is South Africa - working with people from across the globe with various cultural background and educational levels. - High pressure - Involves construction, commissioning and generation (electricity generation) - probably 90% aspects of environmental management involved in this environment
Pros: Great opportunity for skills development and career growth. Project is dynamic and requires one to thik on their feet in order to push produciton targets and remain within the confines of the law.
Cons: Long working hours, procuction sometimes becomes more important than other aspects. Very dynamic (this can be both positive and negative), no public transport around, work evironment is mostly dusty and requires PPE at all times.

Excellent learning opportunity
My Name is Hlengiwe Moyo, and I am a Software Test Analyst by profession. I have been within the testing field for the past 5 years to date and I specialize in functional testing, my acquired skills are mainly within functional testing and am currently pursuing skills within the technical automation testing. I possess skills in using HP Quality Center (QC) testing tools, Unified functional testing (UFT) and in Basic Sequential Query Language (SQL). I am certified in ISTQB Foundation testing, attained HP ALM training, as well as Basic SQL training. I am a very assertive, articulated person and enjoy venturing into different endeavors more especially within the field of testing, testing all kinds of different applications/systems sustains my enthusiasm to pursue more and greater. My edge comes from working with different people from different cultures and background, and getting to discover different kinds of technologies and how business and technology has emerged vastly across organizations.

For the last twelve years I have been using my expertise in electrical production for Eskom.
r the last twelve years I have been using my expertise in electrical production for Eskom. My skills have been applied to advanced equipment and resources setting and repairing electrical lines in a range of locations. Previous experiences include taking customer calls and solving their electrical problems in a cost effective and efficient manner. While many of my projects require a level of independence and responsibility there has been a lot of work with teams. As my resume will attest outside of a firm understanding of the evolving technology behind the installation and repair of complex electrical systems I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills the prerequisite certification needed to operate in this organization.

Excellent learning experience
Working at was Eskom was challenging and fulfilling. The environment is of a company that cares about its employees well being. Generating electricity from coal and water is a very interesting technology which provided interesting challenges on a daily bases.
