Due to politics and people serving themselves it has become a toxic environment.
The reality is that Eskom is a sinking ship, not only are the top executives deceitful and self serving but that culture has trickled down to lower manager and employees. The work life here just takes away from ones soul.

I like to work in team, working with experience people will also help me to gain more experience, I was reached how to do admin's work, filing,capturing information,printing,scan documents and email them, I was also tough how to count stock, how to clean our office daily,I again all experience at eskom.am passionate, willing to work very hard all the time, I am a patient person.i enjoyed working with all my colleagues The taught me so much

Excellent learning curve
I had a great time at Eskom learning all about our power supply and distribution.. There is nothing negative i can point out from Eskom, it is a great company to work for, full of opportunities.. I would recommend Eskom to anyone who wants to empower themselves through knowledge..

Work culture with an impact
_ engineering based company with alot ofdifferent engineering problems to solve _ the company allows me to work with different people in the company and the company business partners _ my work and my role is my department is clearly defined A typical work day is exciting, i get to assist different power stations to solve their engineering problems _ most of my coworkers are my customers i have a great relationship with them. Now and then we have a difference of opnion and conflict managment and compromise sometimes is the answer

I had a good experience training with the company and obtained mechanical fitter trade certificate
I did general maintenance, inspection and fault finding to conveyor systems, gearbox, valves, pumps and many machinery. I am a good team player. I managed to obtain mechanical fitter trade certificate through the same company. I enjoy being given chance to bring opinions on the topic on how other things can be done that together we lift the company as high as we can
Pros: I had a good time of learning and experimenting in different sections
Cons: The experience gained inclined my mechanical state of thinking

Excellent learning opportunities
It was great working there. There was a lot of diversity and learning opportunities. The environment was welcoming. I managed to learn skills such as Microsoft office, technical report writing, failure investigation, component failure analyses and I had an opportunity of learning lab experience.

Striving to provide excellent customer services
Interacting with customers on daily basis regarding their supply requirements, resolving and following up on their application on their behalf, tracking of the customers applications daily. awesome working relationship due to work ethics at our organization is a priority and working as a team is very very significant. Learning to improve my service to customer on daily basis, give what customers want from the first time. Working with customers is my passion and I enjoy it the most. Challenges are interacting with customers on daily basis as they are different and have different needs and requirements, must be able to make every customer happy and satisfied all the time.

Excellent learning enviroment
It entails a lot ofBut it creates an enviroment to learns a lot of skills and apply engineering knowledge. We also have a lot of advantages here like for example subsidised meals and transpot to work meetings, people are more over friendly but not always illing to work.
