There is a lack of leadership at my current Company. The peers employed have hardly any experience and are basically employed to satisfy the BEE numbers as required by Company Policy. I am a dedicated Professional that is also a team player but Quality Control has to be black and white and in my opinion it is unethical to push sub standard goods through to increase production.

Job description
Interact with different people from other departments. Multi discipline environment ad stakeholders , from safety person ell,finance,HR,projects,procurement , Engineers etc. Coordinating people and technical planning coordinating.

Good organisation to work for
Aaa typical day at Eskom, we arrive, eat breakfast and start with our responsibilities for the day. I have a good relationship with my co workers. I have learnt that for employees to perform optimally you have to app reward them.. our Managers uses an.open door policy its challenging when there are no.promotions and increments, and when employees do not want to do ethics training cause they feel are not necessary. Eskom pride themselves in developing its employees as they have bursaries for those who want to study further. Employees are given an opportunity to grow

Excellent
I enjoy working in the oil laboratory because that's where I get to grow in knowledge and learn new things o didn't know about that some other instruments can do I actually love what I get up to and do every day of my life. We treat each other like a family so that we can do a whole lot of work done.

Experienced Senior Engineer
I perform plant inspection as part condition monitoring , so as to identify risk and come up with mitigation strategies. I iniate projects/ modifications to ensure that the plant design base updated and the power station will run for it's intended life span. I assist system engineers in their systems with my technical knowledge, sometimes they come to me and some times I go to them depending on targets. I enjoy coming up with solutions in projects or fault finding , and writing respective technical reports.
Pros: Great opportunity for my career growth
Cons: I only see my family on weekends

I manage a programme comprising complex technical projects on a power plant.
• I earned respect from my colleagues because of being knowledgeable in my area of responsibility • I enjoy working in a dynamic environment • Managing projects in a power station comes with huge challenges especially during this time of power crisis • My relationship with co-workers is cordial because I play the ball not the man • I have learnt that no matter how educated and good you are, sometimes you will need a team to succeed

- Project management work from inception to finalisation. This includes travelling to site for planning and execution of the works. Build strong stakeholder relationship with project stakeholders Manage conflicts where necessary Apply change management and problem resolution techniques Close the project with lessons learnt presentation

Broadened understand of leading IT projects in a complex corporate.
The availability of supportive and career enhancing tools has enhanced my main passion of leading and managing projects or support business information systems with great skills retainung process by allowing the Imparting and share knowledge by conducting training, workshops and facilitation. It is through business system training that business policies, procedures and process controls are standardised.

Resourceful and excellent training provided
Manage a team of 14 employees and have a good work relationship. Issues and close out works orders. Manage department budget. Do performance contracts and appraisals for employees
