HI Generalist

My day to day work in the company is on remuneration and benefits for employees,recruitment,IR,performance management. I love interacting with employees both employer and Employee.Advising on HE issues. I have also learned that working with people everyday can be challenging but at the end you learn to deal with them differentlyrics. The most challenging part is when it comes to salaries where people sometimes think that they must get the same amount on bonuses,not knowing that it depends on the rating and the salary one gets.

AtaAt Eskom i worked as A Technician in Training (Learned) I w My Re days were Great I enjoyed working with my Colleagus and Supervisors I have learned a lot in the Electrical Industry (listed on my CV)

Excellent learning curve

I was commanded by my manager for demonstrating strong skills in: proactively managing important and time sensitive projects, developing innovative solution to critical problems, balancing stakeholder expectation with those of the company; and working collaboratively with other team members to establish efficient and effective systems of operation.

Member of the investigating team

we work long hour but that is just to learn more about the plant and at least ones a week we do presentations as to what we have learnt and how we solve critical issues, and also discuss our challenges we face in the plant.

Excellent learning but no room for growth

Great company to start out at and learn but you will very soon find a plateau. Management are extremely self centered and do not wish to see young people grow and excel.

Excellent leadership and managing tasks

I normally have a structured day because I plan my months and plan my milestones. In the planning I have my risk management included. I believe in team work and empowerment.My team is always motivated and striving to achieve the best. I have learned a lot in leadership especially strategic management and project management. Most challenging aspects are the instabilities because we work with communities aswell.

A good Engineering base

Working as a civil system engineer has allowed me to learn from multiple people and engineering disciplines. This has given me a platform to tackle various civil engineering divisions as part of my learning program and how those divisions help towards the production of electricity at a power station.
