Operations and Field Services Manager
Assess current status of the regional telecommunications network, status of all outstanding customer and network tasks/faults/request and ensure that all is addressed. Manage the regional performance (technical and SHEQ). Attend to escalations from stakeholders e.g. customers, regional manager, business unit manager, etc. Manage project implementation Manage all HR, IR, Finance, Procurement, Contract management issues in the region I get exposed to a lot of experiences in the business which continues to broaden my knowledge of both the telecommunications, electricity, IT/IP, Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management (SHEQ) systems environments. I enjoy many aspects of the work but mostly is the problem solving of technical issues, performance management and training & development. Industrial relations issues are the most challenging to me.

Great opportunity for a graduate
Being part of Eskom has offered me a lot. I've learnt so much; personally and organizationally. There are a number of things I wouldn't have learnt if it wasn't for this company. It is unfortunate that it is time to move on for me. I'm quite thankful for the experience I acquired in this organization.
