Learning
I personally feel like my education level experience and the kind of work I do should pay me more. The risk involved handling my daily operation. The amount of understanding, paying attention to details and maturity required to work as a Foreign notes specialist. Comparing to my salary is depressing.
Pros: Keeps your brain functional. Calculations reconciling books. Keeps the mind sharp

First National Bank is a very good company to work at. good co-workers with love and supportive skills I have learned to work very well with customers and my co-workers I enjoy very much to interact with customers the most challenging aspects for me is my managers, they are not team players, they always act unfairly to workers.

Excellent place to learn and grow within a company
Filing of queries, allocating queries to the responsible query clerk, checking the asset register, checking company vehicles and quality checking queries Excellent relationship with co-workers... Never beeb involved in a conflict situation at work I've learnt how to properly arrange and file hard copies of queries, how to resolve queries, how to properly communicate with peers and higher level employees eg. Executive employees. I've learnt how to properly write business reports and assess risk within the business, how to develop employees and manage company talent efficiently. I've learnt how to better use microsoft office suite in a more efficient and effective manner. The people and the company values because they are my own values too. Stress full workload

Excellent Start to a Career
Good day My typical day starts of with me gathering the team's stats from the previous day, documenting them and emailing the stats. I then move on sort out my responsibilities for the day. I take a look at my emails and answer all queries that we sent to me after COB before getting on with the rest of my duties. My relationship with my co-workers is good. I get along with all of them and I enjoy all the conversations we have whenever we get the chance to talk. The mood is always jovial and respectful. The most important thing I've learnt is to manage my time and my work a whole lot better. The difficult aspects of the job is when we have shortened days due to unforeseen circumstances such as violent protest in the vicinity. That heavily affects my own personal aspirations but I attempt to make it up the next day or the days that follows. Kind regards, Olerato Morule

Excellent opportunity and a learning curve
Being part of the FirstRand group was the most exciting thing. It was a great one year experience working there, I was in a learnership. As I learner I became a sponge, and absorbed as much information as I could. It was an honor to work in the corporate world and I grew each and every day, learning new things every time. I worked as a credit Controller, had the best team who always had much to share and help up where I needed help.

Great customer culture
Work starts at 8H00 am till 17H00 pm. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The company keeps up to its values and standards. Customer service and professionalism are very key aspects. I have learnt to be very attentive to every detail of my work, learnt how to be professional at all times and how to work fast and carefully during peak periods like month end. I enjoy the rewards when we receive incentives for competitions within the department. What is most challenging is working in peak periods when short staffed but otherwise even in times where I would deal with a difficult customer , I have been taught to always be solution based.

Excellent learning curve
KYC AND EDD specialist with 5 to 6 years experience Working for first national bank. Working with different type of people, rendering excellent service to our customers on a daily is my motto, maintaining a health work relationship with my colleagues.. Enjoy working under pressure.
