Great work experience and a wonderful learning curve.
I have learned a lot working for Merchants and i appreciate the opportunity.It has been quite a ride ,fun and bumpy as well. I believe im being paid fairly,however my needs and the cost of living has become more than what i recieve,besides that i have been with the company for more than 4 years now,i believe its time for change. The company doesnt give me any bonus.

Excellent experience
Atypical workday is a good one, I get to engage with other employees and share ideas learnt how to deal with customers and provide good customer care service. I enjoy sharing ideas and good working environment. the most challenging aspects are the long working hours and knocking off late.

Theres growth even though its not that much
This company has growth there and there if you are under coca cola directly if you are under an agent like merchants there is bo growth and the benefits differ under coke theres benefits merchants you must make your own benefits theres no medical aid and staff is dividend because of the different 50 percent differnce

Potential growth
Merchants provide the best customer service training The work environment is great, There is room for growth provided as an individual you show interest. At merchants I have learnt how to interact with people how to manage people. I enjoy to share my skill with people working with people that are just employed teaching them what they should know on calls and system usage after training is great fun for me and working with different characters be it with irate customers, cologues that are impatient and rude that's what I love most of my job and working at merchants. MERCHANTS IS ABOUT PEOPLE FIRST AND EXCELENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Amazing
it was an amazing working at merchants the people are just amazing and working with people and giving them the best services, the challenges i have is the amount of money i get, i don't mind working shifts

This is a very good training center
I am a call centre agent for customer care service, representing Vodacom under a company name Merchants. I have been working in company for more then two years now and giving the best service to the customer. I am not only an agent i am also a team leader assistance, that also give me an exerience in leadership.

Excellent customer service
It is all about giving service to the client, assisting with accounts queries, updating the customer's profile. It is more of a team work because we assist each others with different queries that we come across. Management is very supportive and friendly in a way that you wouldn't even notice there are consultant and management in that department.

Hardworking team leader
I am working from 8h00 until 17h00 from Monday to Friday. I do various tasks as I am currently an intern. I Have worked in the HR deparyment (recruitment team) and have been auditing SETA documents. I have also been responsible for paper work and filling of documents

Great learning curve and exposure to cooperate world.
A typical working is i walk in to office go through my mails for any emails from our UK based client. I pull data from the system based on the previous days data. I then do an analysis the data and draw a report which i provide to my operations manager or Call Center Manager. I manage the SLA, Occupancy and the overall daily performance of the team. I have daily meetings with either my operations manager, CCM or my UK based client. I then have built in weekly one on one sessions with my team in which i discuss development plans for each agent, catchup sessions and most importantly i have coaching sessions with my team.
