They have the most suitable training for an entry level employee. Growth, Skills, Knowledge. On occasions, they have fun activities for the staff. People are respectful towards each other

Potential growth

Merchants provide the best customer service training The work environment is great, There is room for growth provided as an individual you show interest. At merchants I have learnt how to interact with people how to manage people. I enjoy to share my skill with people working with people that are just employed teaching them what they should know on calls and system usage after training is great fun for me and working with different characters be it with irate customers, cologues that are impatient and rude that's what I love most of my job and working at merchants. MERCHANTS IS ABOUT PEOPLE FIRST AND EXCELENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

New experience and opportunity

Working in a call centre environment upgraded my multitasking skills, working both individually and as a team, communication skills, scheduling working times for over 3000 candidates. Being an outbound agent I learnt to retain customers to continue with contracts and advised them why they shouldn't cancel.

Great learning opportunity

Calling outbound customers , insuring there cars life insurance and home and content Ensuring customes commit on the first call also cross selling to customers in the various sectors the company has to offer like health insurance , energy and gas etc...

Learning

Good company indeed. Staff and managers are working well together. Each and everyday they provide their staff with fresh fruits. My position there was desktop support engineer to help staff with IT related issues or problems. I

Learnt all forms of customer service

I am a very energetic and bubbly person. Always eager to learn, strive for growth and loves working in a team. My typical day consists of dealing with customer queries as well and product knowledge and technical skills My co- workers are amazing, always laughing, always supportive I love working with people, i strive for amazing and top quality customer service The most challenging part of my job, is when i am unable to match my customers needs

Merchants experience

Being a call centre agent at merchants requires me to be at work on time on each scheduled day,assist clients with invoice disputes and network issues ,23 till 7th of every month is peak week high call volume,fun working environment, queries were also escalated by us to back office and did follow ups as well,kept calm when. I encountered a irate customer

Develoment is available

the company offers development opportunities but their people first "company value" is not very well implemented. work day comprises of ad-hoc activities from my manager and some planned activities which are expected of me daily. my relationship with co-workers is very good as we are able to work together and complete tasks timeously. what I enjoy most about my work is the interaction with the people(service desk agents and operations managers)
