Learning environment

I have learn a lot from the testing team as well as from developers. The company practice agile methods and in a team we do scrum ceremonies, it was an eye opener. Testing is done from component level where developer finishes a task then that feature is test in QA environment to make sure it works. Then integration testing is done in Staging environment to make sure the feature work well with other software then deploy to Production like - Canary environment to do your system testing then live we do acceptance testing.

Excellent place to work

It was a great place to work at I really enjoyed every moment of it. I learned a lot and everyone was very supportive when one needed assistants and there's a lot of room for growth.

I am a fast learner and a top performer.

I have been with the company for the past 9 years and i managed to get my RE 5 certificate while i am still with the company and i am currently doing my higher certificate with IMM and i am graduating the following year,i have enjoyed all my time with the company in the last 9 years and fill it is time for change and try new things i will be a pressure to join your company.

Pros: I have been with the company for the past 9 years started as the consultant talking inbound calls and move to different department after 3 years to do dstv mobile and moved again to evaluate calls for the consultant and then i was moved to be a coach whereby i couching the new recruits in the company and then i am know at the insurance department assisting with selling the insurance and approving claims and also dealing with complaints from customers.
Cons: we used to do shifts in the beginning whereby i would work from 3 to 11 and we would work Monday to Monday including all holiday unless you are off on the day .

Good communication skill

The environment was create, other employees were helpful were is needed, i was working 8 hours a day, i have learned to multi-task, fast typing skills, and how to handle conflict. The most challenging aspects was to interaction while i speak to the customer.

Work experience gain

I worked in a call centre environment, where we worked in teams which I loved because there's always support from other team members and the supervisor. , in that I learnt to be a team player and also be a top performer.We were required to work shifts and on weekends and 42hours per week.

Pros: Good Salary
Cons: Long working hours and working on weekends

Learnt a lot

It was a great way to get in to the cooparate world and get to understand how different and difficult the cooparate environment is. It also taught me a lot of decipline as thing had to happen in a way that is structured and timeously.

Great learning curve

Ive learned alot at multichoice, alot about customer relations and how to deal with different personalities. Its been a great experience. MY Day to day activities included reporting in on time , receiving calls about financial /technical issues, assisting customer with issue at hand , reporting to supervisor if necessary. I learned how to be an independent team player , that sometimes you need to go an extra mile for customers

Deligent worker

I'm confident person that I could make a contribution and add value as part of a large team in any company. I'm innovative, creative. Good communication skills good interpersonal skills. Diversified in terms of culture and adapt easily to any kind of environment. ...typical day at work will be helping clients to make payments into their account help with reconnection's and fixing technical problems they come across....have a good relationship with my Co workers including my team leader...I have learnt that customers always first...and need to work n xtra mile to exceed their needs....challenging aspects will be system not working...cause it will prevent me from doing my job and offering a kick ass effortless service.
