Superb learning opportunity

Helps with understanding of customers and the brand

I'm currently employed as a customer service consult in high call volume inbound call centre by Multichoice, My duties are assisting in resolving customer queries relating to billing and technical , activating of new accounts ,data capturing, escalating to the technical department? Logging of all calls, generating sale leads, making outbound calls to customers to follow up on queries, loading of payment details, advising on billing and scheduling of adhock debit orders for customers, My skills are good time management, efficient, work well under pressure, multilingual , good with multitasking and work well under pressure.

Pros: Different departments for growth

Impressive company

Multichoice it's a good company to work for because I have meant a lot based on controlling my anger towards the company not the company only but also in the outside world of the business and building rupaul .The nice thing about working at multichoice is that the is weekly/monthly incentives that motivates the employees to do more.the relationship with my co-workers it's amazing because you can be able to approach them when you have personal problems. The most challenging thing about multichoice it's punting when I say punting I mean selling an insurance and pricelock because you have a target to reach in a month and working hours that a very crazy

Pros: Multichoice has growth but you need to have a qualification because most of the post needs a qualification
Cons: Working hours are just okay.the problem is when you work a late shift knocking off at 23.00 you need to provide your self with transportation to home or to the rank

The truth

A typical day would include answering of calls and asisting customers with account queries and technical queries. The environment is free yet professional and one can easy get along with the people around. In the time i have been with the company, i have learnt most of what there is to know about decoders and accounts. What i enjoy most are the laughs i share with my fun customers. The most challenging aspect of my job is knocking off at 11pm.

Pros: Big company
Cons: Long working hours and too little pay.

Excellent Learning Curve

Multichoice it was a great company to be , I learned how to troubleshoot and fix where needed.giving good customer good service, learned how to talk to customers handling different issues in IT.the inviroment was good .the challenge is wen we deliver goods to customers.

Learning environment

I have learn a lot from the testing team as well as from developers. The company practice agile methods and in a team we do scrum ceremonies, it was an eye opener. Testing is done from component level where developer finishes a task then that feature is test in QA environment to make sure it works. Then integration testing is done in Staging environment to make sure the feature work well with other software then deploy to Production like - Canary environment to do your system testing then live we do acceptance testing.

Cons: No room to growth

Deligent worker

I'm confident person that I could make a contribution and add value as part of a large team in any company. I'm innovative, creative. Good communication skills good interpersonal skills. Diversified in terms of culture and adapt easily to any kind of environment. ...typical day at work will be helping clients to make payments into their account help with reconnection's and fixing technical problems they come across....have a good relationship with my Co workers including my team leader...I have learnt that customers always first...and need to work n xtra mile to exceed their needs....challenging aspects will be system not working...cause it will prevent me from doing my job and offering a kick ass effortless service.
