Fully proficient in Collections and recoveries
Nedbank is a great company to work for. My daily duties includes preparation of weekly auctions at main auction house, attending auctions nationwide as a bank representative, stock and processes audits. Market researches. I am a Collections and Recoveries expert and well conversed in laws governing Debt Collections in South Africa. I enjoy great and sustainable relations with all our service providers. I mostly enjoy striking great deals for our distressed clientele through selling their vehicles at highest possible values. The most challenging aspects is low auction attendance because I'll have to dig very deep in the buyers pockets to try getting better and reasonable bids for our vehicles.

Great company to work for .team work is encouraged Working from 8 to 4:45 but most working beyond those hours. Colleagues become like family unit My professional work ethic has improved clients prioritization level of communication has also improved gained confidence when engaging with the dealer network

Charactor building
I have worked within Nedbank for the last 13 Years in various departments. I have learnt allot in the different roles that i have been in, my current role requires me to multi task as i am currently in banking security for the entire country i would need to do multiple admin tasks similtaniously while still answering calls for emergencies. I would also say that is the most challenging aspect of the Job as well as all these things happen in real time and need to be dealt with emediately.

Challenging but exciting
Working in Nedbank is exciting as I am not limited to only procurement activities but I get to do supplier risk management including cyber and privacy. BEE accreditation is one of the critical things I have to monitor every month. The biggest challenge is the risk management that comes with adding on a supplier on to the database. Your need to screen it using the available information and if need be engage them and the user departments to ascertain what we are getting from them. Arranging the risk assessment documents to be completed and signed thereafter is another element of it and tracking the agreed mitigation controls and reporting to the Risk manager

Taking a new challenge
I think i would be very suitable for this Job based on my sales experience, have dealt with difficulf clients, demanding and proffessional clients. Have rendered some financial services to every class of our society, different people around my home town and other visiting clients. I know how to convince a client through a value selling not product pushing, through a correct onboarding selling according to clients needs.

Client and work experiences
Working with a customers is very challenge and at the same time very educating because you learn patience and learn how to deal with different types of people with their behaviours. I have learnt how to deal with difficult users by just providing them with what they want and discussing behaviours after the work has been done, I have learnt to listen and take time before responding and to think and understand what the user really wants then do as they want. I enjoy users that are not difficult and not always want favours but follow the procedure as that make it easy when the need for favour comes. What challenges me is when a user does not understand troubleshooting procedures and when you explain they just want to escalate. I have a very strong and funny team members, very helpful and will never leave you to drawn. Some days are very calm and work just flow easily and some days you just need a barocca. But above all we learn each day and one needs to keep positive. ICAN attitude.

Current Accountabilities
I currently am accountable for Compliance Management, Goverance and Ethics for our South African Centre as well African Subsidaries (Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. I manage a team of Complince Specialist, Managers and Regulatory Specialists and co manage the Heads of Compliance together with the Managing Executives in country. I'm also accountable for the Roll out of respective Regulatory Programmes, AML, Market Conduct (COFI) and FATCA accross multiple jurisdiction. I have been with Nedbank for the past 17 years and belive it is a freat company top work for, however there comes a time that one has to spread their wings. Through my tenure at Nedbank I have held varouis roles, accross varouis levels, starting off in front line, working my way to head office level.
