Excellent learning curve

Not much to say I've stated previously, salary was not good for the one had to do per day. Has been a great place to work for and grow career wise. I was able to complete my bachelors due to their benefits they offered their staff. I will always recommend Nedbank as a great to work for to any individual including family.

Pros: Great opportunity for multi-skilling, growth
Cons: Long working hours, weekend at work, backlogs

Best Learning Curve

The culture is great ,people respect each other . The relationships amongst employees is healthy with its own normal challenges that every relationship can come across. They encourage a healthy home and work balance. There's also opportunities to study. What I enjoyed most is the flexible hours and the flexibility to work from home. The challenges encounter was unrealistic demands from certain senior individuals. I've learnt to embrace my colleagues, their cultures and working styles.

Pros: Great opportunity for learning
Cons: Expectations can be unrealistic at times

Work

Great brand to work for the past 12 years. added to what I have learned working at Standard Bank. Enjoyed assisting the clients when they come in to maintain there accounts or enquiries. Experienced different life stages the clients have and through my own life stages. Staff members I have a good relationship with mostly cause have trained some of them and I respect them and they share the same vies as me to grow with the company. The most challenging aspect is that we have to service the clients and then also contribute to the sales target of the branch and our buddy team, While servicing the clients account we also need to sell another product to that client and clients always seems to be in hurry to go somewhere else or don't have time. End of business day the Branch manager wants to see the stats of accounts opened so he can identify who was not productive for the day, continues pressure from a sales perspective and also service.

Pros: Great place to get exposed to different enviroments in a business. eg: Sales,Service, Operations
Cons: If you become to valueable for a Branch. Promotions is limited

Learning opportunity

It was a well excellent working experience with the team and learning different cultures. Working together and that taught me that we are family not just a team. The challenges was not that much because when work we used to come together as a team, there will be challenges that I would encounter with clients if we don't provide the proper level of service that they expected from the team. What I have learnt is everyday when you wakeup and work with client you need to listen to them and put your self into their shoes every time when you assist them so that you can be able to provide an excellent service.

Pros: Give me great opportunity in life
Cons: Not growing
